Good man Parra! Ulster needed that.....take your time lads.

If Ah You has been Clermont's best player in the last 15, Parra has been Ulster's. Awful direction and decisions.

Should close out a great win here.

    Marshall has been great today.

Pienaar playing at a nice Kieran Marmion pace to slow down the game.

20 seconds left and Clermont scrum

Ah You with one of the worst sub performances you will ever see.

He did the same against Glasgow in the semi final last year, got a yellow for a carbon copy of that high hit today at almost exact same time

    Some game. Well done Ulster.

Great win for Ulster. Big difference between the sides was Ulster huge defensive improvement in the 2nd half, the performance fell off but Kiss will be happy with that performance.

great game of rugby. ulster may regret giving away those two bonus points but a great game for their self-belief after some mediocre performances

Ulster fans were great, but you gotta love those Clermont fans!

Great result and performance by ulster. Stood up to an onslaught towards the end there but delighted they held on!!

Why can't we play like this every week? Brilliant!

WE don't put out that team every week. Once a month if we are lucky.

Great game. Two heavy weights going at it who know how to score tries (but momentarily forget how to defend). Some of the tries were magic, from both sides.

I'm a big Clermont fan so it was win win for me with an Irish team getting 5 points and Clermont still coming away with 2.

Clermont's 2 points don't matter a jot. We were never winning the pool so Clermont can get as many as they like.

Our target is 18. 18 doesn't guarentee the knockouts but it gives us a chance. We need 9 points from our last 3 games. I still wish we had held on for the LBP in Bordeaux.

Marshall..... Cretin. That ranks alongside Kiss and his awful selection away in France last year. If Ulster had started with their second half team we'd have made the last 8. Cost us - well - the IRFU - a bundle.

Happy enough today, we looked very good in attack. Henderson a collosus at 6, Henry outstanding and Reidy very good. Even Diack was decent.

Still, the front row replacements nearly cost us that win. Ah You's cameo was rubbish and Warwick didn't really offer much unfortunately.

Treadwell was good when he came on.

We are going to miss Pienaar, really boils my piss every game there's a Pienaar highlights reel. If we can find someone who can give us 25% of what he does we'll have done exceptionally well.

Jackson class again. Luke Marshall, class. The 9/10/12/13 axis for Ulster today was absolutely top drawer, if Carbery and Ringrose linked up like that we'd be hearing about it in the paper for a month. :D Bowe looked much better as well.

When they do actually get to play a full match together against top opposition, I'll be sure to let you know how they get on. :p

Hendy was excellent today...BUT...Paddy Jackson was my MOTM. Outstanding performance today by him. Passing, kicking, running, defence, goalkicking, decision making, try scoring, it really was a performance of the highest quality from him.

Luke Marshall wasn't far behind either.

Treadwell, Cave and Ross were fine from the bench, actually Cave was pretty effective, but Warwick and Ah You had poor cameos.

Treadwell has a huge frame. If Ulster get the conditioning right he could be a colossus. I suspect the long term plan is a Henderson/Treadwell second row. We need to give Treadwell a bit of time though. But he did well today and he will not face many better sides than that playing for Ulster.

Delighted for Luke Marshall. Would have been easy for him to go into his shell after the autumn series but instead he came out against arguably the most talented back line in Europe and came out on top.

He showed today that he's still a real option for a green jersey. It's a shame he couldn't have played like that a month ago or he'd probably have started against Australia.

When Ulster had the ball yes, but I thought the lack of pressure from him and McCloskey in midfield was a problem in the first half, made it too easy for Clermont at times.
