Worst card in recent memory? Even the injured-hit Dublin card in 2015 holds its own against this.

Shambles of a card alright but tbh that 3 min weigh in face-offs vid above was probably better than that Dublin card.

I see a few dogfights in this, main card might surprise a few
ngannou looks a monster but so did kongo in fairness, should get a top ten guy after beating hamilton surely

Good stuff from Diakese to dominate the third round after the second round got very messy.

Perez is such a sulking bollocks.

Cheers, got sorted with a way of watching :D I know its been said before but ridiculous that fightpass has got so bad in Ireland. Watching stuff on BT sports sucks, id prefer pay for the PPV and have less ads :(

Ha that was a gas fight

Surprised that the fight wasn't stopped earlier, either by the referee or Villante himself... Really took a beating.

Yeah what happened to sofarovs *spelt wrong* leg? I thought villante was gone for a minute as well. He was out on his feet for the last 30 seconds of the fight though, should have been called a little earlier.

Scary scary man, didnt know a thing about MMA 4 years ago.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,052 ✭✭✭poldebruin

that was a head kick in slow motion which led to the takedown. Too big to hold down thoguh :)

1st round to Abdurakhimov fairly easily. You've got to think it'll be to his advantage the longer the fight goes.

I don't think you want to tire Lewis out by letting him uppercut you in the face as Stann is suggesting there. 2nd to Abdurakhimov no question. Lewis looks very one dimensional, and doesn;t seem to have a plan b beyond hoping to land a single punch.

Not exactly a barnburner. Neither of these are good enough to crack the top 5. Lewis shouldn't throw another kick in the fight.....ah down again.

About time refs started warning people about doing a sonia o'sullivan impression.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,052 ✭✭✭poldebruin

How can the ref give that warning, Abdurakhimov is 3 rounds up. Where's the warning for Lewis, he's probably thrown about as much. Why doesn't the ref tell Lewis to track him down more effectively?

Lewis is advancing and trying to engage. The other guy is literally running away.

Jaysus having that man mount you and throw bombs must be the scariest thing ever.

Shuffling forward slowly with his hands down, why should the opponent close the distance? he was waiting for the kick/opening to take him down. You can blame the guy for backing up, but he was up 3 rounds to 0 easily before the finish came.

I don't like the style myself, but the fact is neither fighter was throwing anything, why is the one winning the fight easily getting a warning?

Can't see Lewis troubling any of the top heavyweights (lucky punch excepted)

206 card tomorrow night looks good, but just mentioned that Pettis missed weight which means he can't win the interim belt or something? What happens if he wins, does he get the shot at Aldo? I fancy Holloway in any event.
