Zorya vs Man United 18:00 BT Sport 3

  • 08-12-2016 4:03pm
    #1

Manchester United's Europa League clash against Zorya Luhansk is expected to go ahead on Thursday after a pitch inspection, club and UEFA officials have said.

An investigation took place at 10 a.m. local time amid concerns over whether the icy pitch would thaw sufficiently for the match to be played.

Utd only need a point to progress to the Knockouts, we are on a run of draws so should be good :pac:

*Edit* thread needs some Phil for luck

0-0, probably one of the worst games of football I'll have ever seen.

The pitch looks great, I don't know what all the fuss was about.

    Team:

Man Utd v Zorya: Romero, Young, Bailly, Rojo, Blind, Herrera, Pogba, Mata, Rooney, Mkhitaryan, Ibrahimovic

  • Great to see Bailly back
Although why play ibra again, let him rest fs

Jose is complaining about the pl not scheduling any Monday games for utd after the Europa lge games to aid with recovery. It was impossible to give utd a Monday game after any of the el ties due to either the international break, a midweek Carling cup game or in this weeks case a round of midweek pl games . I personally think his team selections in midweek games has cost utd a fair few points . Utd were flying up till these midweek games kicked in.

Great to see Rooney back but it baffles me as to why we put out possibly our strongest team in a competition that nobody really cares about.

I'd assume its importance is of relevance to our current league position

    Controlling the game
    Pogba playing well so far

Up against 11 men behind the ball too

**** off Pogba. That's just horrific

Pogba needs to lay off the 40 yarders when there is 5 players ahead of him starting to make runs

United have lost 8 out of their last 9 away games in Europe, and the other was a draw. That is shocking.

    Bailly was on target though...

If Phil Jones had tried that he'd be out for the season.

Maybe that's why Jose didn't risk him.

Score going our way in the other game.

Controlling the ball here but the final pass has been horrific. I actually thought Zlatan was going to clock Herrera at one stage.

Hate seeing flares dispatched on the pitch, but it should help Pogba find the target.

  • What a goal miki
