    Hi all,

We're due to move into our new bungalow in March and herself is on about keeping a few chickens (we'll have plenty space) when we get ourselves and the kids settled.

I'm not exactly an arch-capitalist but I'd be more inclined to think there might be a few more Euro in fattening ducks. I read someplace about buying them at a few days old, feeding them on, and then selling for slaughter at 8 weeks.

We'd have room for a few dozen of them. We currently have 30-odd ewes and some forestry as well.

Has anyone here any experience of "duck farming"? Am i talking through my hat with this idea???

    Thanks.
