Superquinn cocktail sausages and beans for breakfast. Two pints of water with a dash of blackcurrant. No lunch. Suppin on a beer now with dry roasted peanuts. Contemplating whether I should head out for the real thing.

Stuffed pork fillet with boiled home grown potatoes, some carrots, broccoli, & celery, plus our own peas and courgette.

Probably ice cream and pears for dessert in a while

Had a nice bit of roast beef there with small roast potatoes, a little mash, peas and gravy.

Had a Magnum afterwards but to be honest I think the Lidl or Aldi ones are far superior.

Drowning my sorrows with a can Bulmer's poured on top of some ice and a wedge of lemon.

There's about a dozen strawberries in the fridge that will be gone by the time this is read.

Gave in to the temptation and advice. Had some "real" beers. I know it's a Sunday night and we are all up for work amarach, but I'm gonna have another at home. Later than planned, but dinner is sirloin steak, mash, peas, carrots and pepper sauce. Apart from the pepper sauce everything else is on a plate under clingfilm. It never fails me.:D

Mildly hungover. All I've eaten today has been bad food. Brekkie was an iced mocha frappe and a sugar donut, lunch was nachos with super spicy salsa (toddler was hilarious eating it. Had cup after cup of water but just kept on dipping) then dinner was chipper. One can of beer for hair of the dog. Now ready to sleep.

Spent the weekend at the Skerries 100 road racing. Home this evening fecking starving, so got a chicken curry, fried rice, chips and 8 can's of Karpackie Polish beer to wash it all down.

In Slovakia at the minute with my wife and my mother. Spent the day touring caves in the Tatras, now sitting down and just polished off a bottle of Captain Morgan, deciding whether we should crack open the bottle of Champange in the corner.

We should defend our way of life to an extent that any attempt on it is crushed, so that any adversary will never make such an attempt in the future.

The Skeff.:D (or should I say The Skeffington Arms:D) New years eve 1990 under a table snoggin a lovely girl as the drink rained down all over the place at midnight. In all my visits to Galway since, I've never been back to the Skeff. Enjoy that pint!
