After a long day at work yesterday, I got sidelined to the latter stages of a birthday party. I was weak.:D Very little food.:(

Today started brightly with a roast beef dinner. As its a day off, it was followed by a few pints and the football. Sitting back now with a few bottles of Heineken, ice cold and sliding down well. Day off tomorrow too, so that takeaway could possibly happen tonight!

A lot of junk consumed this weekend, so just after a big bowl of pasta with homemade sauce, with a few couple of portions left for later in week.

Went to late lunch in Carlow town yesterday and had the most amazing burger I ever tasted, it was Huge! Had to dismantle it to eat it, 2 huge onion rings on it too, crispy batter, not to thick, bucket of chips and small side salad. Just about finished the burger, had a few chips but didn't touch the side salad, you'd want to starve yourself for 24 hours before that burger.

Tonight I made sweet potato chips, red onion, peas and steak. Yummy, after a lazy Sunday with thunderstorms and rainbows here.

Had seabass served to me with the head in situ last night. The fish was beautiful but he didn't look happy.

Just had an omellete, some fresh fruit, and an itty bitty almond pastry that I want five more of.

Half the fun of fish is having it served with the head still attached! Did some epic sea bass on the BBQ when I was on hols this year - put some lime slices in the body cavity, then rub garlic salt and olive oil on the skin. Wrap securely in tinfoil and chuck it on the BBQ for about 15-20 mins each side (varies according to size) and you've got yourself a delicious meal!

Having a delicious szechuan chicken right now.
