    Thursday Night/Friday Morning 1.25am

    Cowboys @ Vikings

    Sunday 6pm

    Broncos @ Jaguars
    Eagles @ Bengals
    Texans @ Packers
    Rams @ Patriots
    Dolphins @ Ravens
    Chiefs @ Falcons
    49ers @ Bears
    Lions @ Saints

    Sunday 9.05pm

    Bills @ Raiders

    Sunday 9.25pm

    Redskins @ Cardinals
    Giants @ Steelers
    Buccaneers @ Chargers

    Sunday Night/Monday Morning 1.30am

    Panthers @ Seahawks

    Monday Night/Tuesday Morning 1.30am

    Colts @ Jets

I really fancy the Browns to have their best weekend of the season this week. Everything is stacked in their favour to avoid the loss.

The second slate of games look really interesting this week. I think this is the week that the Giants' luck starts to fade. Same for Miami, I think the Bills leap over them in the wild-card race this week.

Please no Jets win.... We play Colts, SF and 3 divisional games. As bad as we are (and we are awful) it would be just like the Jets to win 3-4 games and completely fcuk ourselves up.

I hope more than anything we lose the next 2

Sam Bradford out, Shaun Hill in. Vikings D have been pretty good in general first half, would be surprised if they win now though.

EDIT: Cancel that, they put him back in, just a shot to the ribs

Minnesota defense are so enjoyable to watch.

Such a pity their offensive line is made from wet cardboard

The Vikings D line have been monsters alright, back to the standard they were at before the slide that began against the Eagles. Obviously more impressive still given the O line they're against.

Of course just as I say it Dallas get a TD off the back of the very bad O line work of the Vikings (but really their whole Offense seems a bit shaky tonight, can't seem to get any momentum going)

Ugh, Ezekiel Elliott needs to stop doing that stupid eating gesture every single time he runs for two yards or whatever. It's really annoying.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,004 ✭✭✭✭Realt Dearg Sec

Sam Bradford looked really good on that TD drive against the clock.

Can he get the 2 pointer though?...

EDIT: Hell no. He's still Sam Bradford...Cowboys lucky they got away with a late hit on him though, but it didn't change how woeful the pass was.

not a great game from Minnesota special teams, one critical fumbled punt return/turnover, nearly one before the final drive and short punts

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,830 ✭✭✭✭DvB

Coupleof penalties not called on Minnesota so they got what they deserved in the end IMO.
11-1 never dreamt of a season like this... and it has to be said this team is learning how to win ugly, which is no bad thing.

All we need now is the steelers to do us a favor at the weekend & washington to mess up & its all set up for a big one in new york next week... crucial Dallas retain one of the top two seedings for the play offs.

That was one that got away. Our offence is too bad for us to be realistic playoff contenders.

Thank f**k that Al "The King" Michaels is back in the booth this week alongside Cris "One of the great stories of the National Football League" Collingsworth this week!

Mike Tircio is a very knowledgeable guy and a good presenter, but is an absolutely terrible commentator - his dull monotone droll would cure anyone's insomnia!!

I've seen the future, and I don't like it. NBC have shelled out a lot of cash for basically a human shaped sleeping pill...

Yeah, Chris Collinsworth has his critics but I've always liked his voice. Reminds me of playing Madden. "That was like an old-fashioned RUGBY SCRUM" -Yes Chris, you've said that four times in this one game.

The only problem with Tirico imo is that he is too opinionated about football which is not his job in the booth. If NBC can get him to stop giving his own opinion on the game and just do the play by play then things will be fine imo.

It's not his opinions that I have an issue with, it's his dull monotone voice with no change or emotion at all - could be the a simple play or the greatest play ever seen and he'd call both in the same boring tone...

    Fantastic slate of games today.

    Dolphins @ Ravens
    Lions @ Saints
    Chiefs @ Falcons
    Texans @ Packers
    Bills @ Raiders
    Giants @ Steelers

    All have huge playoff implications.

I'm very pessimistic of the Lions getting a result in New Orleans with the list of inactives that has come out.
No Marvin Jones, still no Levy, no Don Carey (arguably the Best special teams player on the 53) & no Whitehead, who has played every snap on defence this year. It leaves them with 2 healthy LB's for todays game (one of them a rookie):(

Surgical opening drive from Flacco (). 79 yards, 6 receptions to 6 different receivers. TD.

Now lets see how the top ranked run D looks against the Dolphins ever improving run game.

That'll be a scary team come playoff time if the offense can start clicking even a little bit.

Dolphins come unstuck with a 46 yard FG miss, but that was a positive drive from them. 4 runs for 27 yards with Ajayi getting a nice few yards after contact.

Agreed. If Flacco was playing to even an average level I'd fancy our chances of making a Super Bowl run considering the level the D is playing at, but it will take a huge transformation to go from 26th ranked offense to that. Hard to see it happening.

The offense is too undisciplined and we also abandon the run game far too early which doesn't help at all.

Here's me thinking if Denver can just sneak into the playoffs they could find a spark and cause some trouble there, currently being manhandled by the Jaguars defense! I think I'll have to accept this years version is too flawed to be a contender.

    14-0, Ravens.

    8 plays, 63 yards including a 4th and 1 conversion at midfield.

Flacco has started hot. 11/14 for 136 yards, 2 TD's.

Nice to see Pitta get his first TD of the season also.

That seriously might have been the worst single quarter of football I've ever seen.

Punters are picking out receivers better than QBs in Chicago

Jesus Christ what are the eagles doing ? a run on 3rd and 9 with a rb who isn't 100% healthy and then they hit the upright on the fg attempt. Yep that sums it up alright.

i dont think that run was intentional i think it was snapped early the tackles dropped back so i think it was supposed to be a pass play

Yeah I know they mentioned that but that's crap for a pro football team.

Kaep just made the first completion of the game in Chicago. 25 minutes into the game nearly. It's actually fascinating stuff.

it sure is. 2 tds down alraady against a team with 3 winds  i guess it was always a rebuilding year but man its tough to watch

Justin Tucker with another 50+ yarder. This time from 55. Dead center through the uprights. 35 FG's made in a row now. He is something else.
