Could possibly have asked this already!! Apologies if I have!! Memory problems galore!! Anyway, if you block someone you have mutual friends with, - is the blocking in-effective?!? Basically would a blocking only work with someone you don't have mutual friends with? Or does it still work even if you share the same friends?

Blocked means blocked. They can't see your stuff, you can't see theirs. It'd defeat the purpose otherwise. They might be able to see what's on your public profile if they log out though.
