Reading a few documents with respect to First time buyers grant etc. Coming from a failed relationship where is signed over a house (i received nothing in return) where i paid half of mortgage for over 10 years i felt for sure i wouldn't be entitled to any grant.

    http://www.citizensinformation.ie/en/housing/owning_a_home/buying_a_home/stamp_duty.html

As a divorced or separated person, you could be considered a first-time buyer if you met certain conditions.

But then i noted this section after i over heard Pat Kenny speaking to two Mortgage advisers during the week.

Can anyone advise to what these certain conditions are. Or whom would be illegible.
