Just wondering, anyone here ever wear an anklet and get propositioned?

I understand that it has a significance in the wife swapping / swinging community....

Good idea, not as cumbersome as the old ball and chain.

I dont think I have seen an anklet on a woman since 1987 to be honest. Have seen a few anklet tattoos though.

You've been busy. First date shenanigans, and now this! I'm curious, are you into the swinging, and that's how you knew about anklets, or did someone out themselves to you?

What is the significance to anklets? I'm in work, and don't want to be googling that!

It's not, but it's more of an American thing.

    Dirty feckers.

I've been propositioned while wearing earrings.

Also when not wearing earrings which must mean something else entirely.

That AND the loud beeping noise your anklet makes when you exit your front gate.

    Bracelet on the ankle?

Might as well be a fúcking bullseye!

That's a new one on me. I've heard of one about men with an earring-on one side it means they're straight, if it's on the other ear it means they're gay. Strikes me as a load of codswallop..

    Anklets are nice, though

Did you have it on the left or right ankle?

Pampas grass plants in the garden is a sign that it's a house that belongs to 'sex people' as Alan Partridge described them.

Reminds me of one night a woman came up to me as I was on my way home and stuck her hands down my jeans, brazen as you like. I said what the hell are you at and she pointed down at my ankle and said 'You're wearing a anklet'. I wasn't though, it was just that one of my bicycle clips had slipped off my jeans. Silly woman.

God that old gem  I tell you something now

Wear your earring on the left or right
But if you wear a big diamond stud I don't care what ear it's on I'm questioning you're orientation

You should ensure her ankles are appropriately covered. As any lady should. *polishes monocle*

I live such a sheltered life.
Anklet. - A bracelet worn around the ankle. Widely reocognized as a symbol that a woman is a hotwife or slutwife and available to other men for sexual activity.

I think John's wife is a hotwife. She is wearing an anklet on her right ankle.

Earing on the left, for a straight bloke.

Anklet was always said to be worn by a prostitute. Think I once heard it originated from India? Though, that could be as much urban bull as anything else.

Both extremely long running notions though.

Much as the wedding ring is usually worn on the left ring finger that way expressing its owner’s marital status, the anklets were also once gifted to the bride by the groom as a symbol of love and the wish to become her official husband. The women wearing anklets on their right ankles were being referred as call girls.

However, in Christianity it is the left side that is considered to be the symbol of Devil and everything connected with evil forces in general. There is also another version that the bracelet worn on the right ankle is telling about its wearer’s being of non-traditional sexual orientation.

People are watching too much porn.

Anklets don't mean anything other than you like wearing an anklet. I've always worn one (on the right), and they've been admired many times but I've never been asked to take part in any alternative lifestyle activities!
