The Seahawks got called for a PI earlier on in the end zone but they've got away with a few since then. They seem to get away with an awful lot.

    Hmm
    Early in match
Patriots fan complains about a PI by sea hawks...
Well that's something we don't hear every weekend
    ... oh wait
Granted in most cases is true TBF

One of the worst coached games I've ever seen from the Pats. ****ing disgrace. Seattle were far superior.

To be honest its not the coaches fault they couldnt run in it from 1 yard.

OLine got bossed at the end.

Only saw one replay but it looked like a lot of contact on Gronk for the pass play.

What a fourth quarter that was in Pittsburgh. Elliot is ridiculous. Has rookie of the year down up anyway and is a contender for POTY too now I'd say.

Really good game in foxborough. Our defense couldn't do much to stop Wilson at times who looks back to his best and we really should be scoring from a yard out with all our downs. Luckily we have the 49ers next week so should pick up the W.

NFC title game between Seattle and Cowboys would be sweet.

On the Gronk/Chancellor tussle at the end, could OPI and DPI been called with the penalties offsetting? Is that possible?

From a neutral (Bears :() POV, the result keeps the AFC East interesting. The Patriots still have to travel to Denver and Miami who are 5-4 now. I could be wrong, but the race for the playoffs feels a lot closer than it did at this stage last year.

Some brilliant games yesterday. Watched Red Zone until 11pm Irish Time, then Game Pass, then highlights of Steelers.

Massive wins from Miami and Washington. Playoff picture is starting to clear up.

Looks like two wild cards in AFC West, and maybe also NFC East.

By the way if the cowboys win their additional game over the falcons) admittedly a tough one in Baltimore), they will be 3 games clear with 6 go against the spluttering vikings, Giants and Eagles at home, and the redskins, bucs and lions on the road still to come. They are more or less running away with the entire conference at this point. Wouldn't hold my breath, but if dez Bryant can round into one of his white hot streaks that he gets, I don't know how you could plan to stop these guys.

They got lots of flack for taking Elliott in the draft over Ramsey and a few others - 'typical jerry pick' - well jerry is proving many of us (myself included) very wring in that one. Sure the line is absurd, but he is playing phenomenal.

That line is obscene, and elliot/Prescott behind it have to be one of if not the best rookie rb combo ever. Their receivers are decent and written is still very good while being the only ageing player on the entire offense if I recall. They could be set for a few incredible seasons with those two on rookie contracts.

And having Romo on the bench in case Prescott hits the rookie wall or is struggling badly in a playoff game? You've got to be f*cking kidding me!! Excellent (though obvious) decision in no small part for just that to keep him on the bench when he returned, and I've always liked Romo - great to see him take the situation like an absolute pro.

I think it's the opposite. Because of the amount of teams in or around .500, there are a load more teams who think they're still with a shout of making the playoffs as opposed to other years after 10 weeks.

49ers are looking feisty. Kaepernick auditioning for next season. Have the niners not got a QB they think might be on the roster next year that they would like to develop?

    Nope. Kaepernick/Gabbert/Ponder.

Watched the three late window games on redzone last night. That is what redzone is made for and Well that was exciting stuff. And as much as it pains me to say as an eagles fan, the cowboys are the real deal and this talk from that idiot skip bayless and others about Tomy romo getting the start when healthy ? Just stop please. Stop it. Ezekiel Elliott is on pace to beat Eric Dickersons rookie rushing record and rookie of the year and he's just such a good player.

Also those two throws by Phillip rivers last night near the end were shocking throws.

“I think the longer (Prescott) plays like this, the more we have a chance to have another win,” Jones told reporters. “Everybody here wants to do only really one thing, is win. There’s nobody that would introduce any other issue or any other consideration other than do whatever it takes to win the game. So, today, to be able to come out of here with a win just obliterates any thought about any of the issues that you might have as to who’s out on the field.”

Doesn't seem like it, or more that if he had early in the year he has changed his mind - would be a terrible idea too. Nothing is broken right now, so why fix it? They look like they might just have a pro bowl/all pro QB for the next 15 years, and if he hits the wall/has a terrible go of a playoff game they've got a Pro Bowler with more experience than almost any QB in the league who has been the starter there for a decade to take his place.

In the reverse, I doubt Romo would be outperforming Prescott and if he was it wouldn't be by much. Then Prescott is going to be less confident if he has to come in for Romo and might not have the experience to be relief on to turn a game around or see it out with his momentum gone. Plus fans get unhappy and it creates a controversy that should never be one.

    Just wouldn't make any sense.

Either way there's not a team in the league that wouldn't want the QB problem they have, instead of the QB problem most teams have.

That Cowboys O line is scary good. I know Elliott's been incredible but I think even I'd be able to get 50 yards in a game by some of the insane holes they're opening.

Only way Cowboys don't go to the Super Bowl is for the rookies to crap the bed. No one in the NFC is close Bar maybe Seattle.

As a cowboys fan it's a great headache to have
The team spirit and sense of family around the team now suggests something big is brewing.
Look at Dez yesterday, his father died Saturday and they closed ranks around him to support him,Written thinks of him as his little brother, dak spoke to him Sunday about losing his Mother and how football helped him heal.Elliott takes no praise for his he's doing, thanks his O line for giving him the chances..
Everyone seems to be singing if the sane hymn sheet
It's a long time since Dallas has been like this. I'm nervous, excited and optimistic about where we go from here

The only hope for the rest of the NFC (and it isn't a great hope) is that Prescott/Elliot hit the rookie wall. They played 12 or thirteen games in college so going up to possibly 18-19 might slow them down a bit.

I know, I'm clutching at straws but as a fan of a NFCE team I need something to hope for!

Anyone watching this? Has the potential to be interesting even though the Bengals have been poorer than I expected this year, and have started slowly tonight.

Eifert takes it to the goal line on a really weird formation as I am typing...

Nice start for the Giants, three rookies caught the last three passes on the way to that touchdown. First it was Lewis, then Shepherd and then Adams.

As I type the Bengals have leveled things up with a nice quick drive finished off by AJ Green for the td.
