    Hello,
Recently ( sept ) got my act together and cut out junk food and overeating and started using a gym, 3-4 times a week. My routine is, 5min brisk walk on threadmill, 3 weight machines, 20min on cross trainer, 5min on rower then either stretches or 5min brisk walk.

My question is this, initially I was well beat after the session, now (2months later) I am alot more easy after the session, but I still find each part just as hard. I can lift a tiny bit more, but the rower and cross trainer are no easier.

So am I getting fitter? Weight is down, that's about all I can measure.

You've improved your food/nutrition and exercise.

It's fair to say you've made some big improvements.

You can measure rower and cross trainer. Because it isn't easier doesn't necessarily mean anything without knowing if you're doing more on them in the same period of time.

Yeah if you were stuggling to do 2km on the xtrainer in 20 mins but now it's 2.5+ then you know it's progress
