Is the rain showing on the rainfall radar on met.ie in Offaly and Westmeath in the last hour heavy?
It's heading straight for here, so much for a dry day today.

Got a shower of misty drizzle an hour or so ago on outfarm, none at home a mile away were silage is down. Very cloudy

Rained here for an hour at lunchtime, not overly heavy but could have done without it all the same. Tedded the silage twice since and waiting on the baler now. It dried out fairly well since.

Tis a dirty morning here in Cork - heavy drizzly mist...

If you're in for the same day, you did the right thing to get it in last night Whelan...

Overcast heavy Air with light rain.
I'd say we're in for a wet day.

Left a sunny ncd at midday to collect youngest and all his gear from Galway. Heavy showers around Enfield and Athlone. Just back and have the barbecue lighting. Steak and beer for dinner.

All the major food groups, steak AND beer:D

Warm but dull day here, a few showers but nothing too heavy. We're supposed to be shearing tomorrow but the forecast isn't looking good for that so will just get the yard sorted for it and see how the morning looks before deciding.

Yeah, same here. Heavy shower at 9 last night and grass wet this morning so called off for the week I think.

I'm not sure whether to be happy that there is enough rain to perk up growth or pi$$ed off that it's too wet to shear.

    Dry all day here:(

Serous rain here also in the last 24hrs, made grazing tricky enough, high covers aren't helping! Let the cows on sooner than normal both grazings today, was going to have to top them paddocks anyways, no point poaching to try get the last bit of grass off.

    Dry all day here:(

Very little rain here today too

Must be well over an inch of rain here today.

Fields are getting flooded in places.

We seem to exist in some sort of dry vortex here. Rain seems to fall 4 or 5 miles from us but we seem to be missing the most of it.

I may need to change my address to NW Sahara.:o
