I say Clinton will win. Trump will get a good share of the votes so it won't be a total landslide. But she has it. Just my prediction.

Kinda feel that while trump being "outspoken" brought him to the dance, but being too "outspoken" ruined his chances in the end.

I think at the moment trumps best case scenario is 268 electoral votes. He'd have to take a number of solidly blue states to win. That 268 is based on taking swing states. The one thing that could change it is if dem voter turnout is low and republican is high but even then there's enough solidly blue states to carry Hillary.

I'm slightly addicted to this site right now.

I can't fathom people putting them at the same level. What is THAT about? Clinton is massively flawed but at least she is qualified and feckin' understands the legal and governmental systems. Definitely not an idiot. Trump isn't necessarily an idiot either but he seems not too interested in understanding what the job will entail and is far too thin-skinned to be a politician. He wants to win this because he has a desperate need to be alpha in everything he does.

My prediction: Clinton will win but it won't be a huge landslide.

I met Graham Chapman once. Decent enough chap. We talked about Basset Hounds.

Even with a total muppet, both sides are virtually guaranteed 40-45% of the vote due to party lines. - Trump will prove this right next week.

In reality there's only 10-15% of votes up for grabs even with someone like trump.

Funny, if republicans had any other candidate they'd probably be heading to the white house.

It won't. There'll be court cases, investigations and probably civil unrest stoked by Trump if he loses.

At the debates he made it fairly clear he won't accept it if he loses. No he didn't say "I won't" but when he was directly asked he refused to answer.

It goes to show that the presidency means nothing.

Looking at some of the great presidents that have gone before. Its a shame that the republicans and democrats would quite literally destroy the office of the president by nominating two complete and utter tossers just so they would have a chance to win.

If there was a point in history where a president should be allowed to have a third term it should be now.

I mean how do you get to a point when the american people have to choose between Clinton and trump (how the **** did that ever happen). Both of them dishonest and corrupt to the core.

But then i suppose wall street was never going to let Bernie win

You need to bet on it so!

On that, Clinton is still the favourite but Trump's odds have shortened. He was 3/1 on Paddy Power yesterday.

The same argument can be made for the Democrats. The fact that Clinton has even had this much trouble against Trump is an indictment against just what caliber candidate she is.
My guess, people will vote for Clinton in order to keep Trump out, and then vote Republicans for congress to make sure she can't do anything. Then wait for the fun in four years.

People keep saying the Republicans are sure to have a good candidate next time. But they never do. They haven't had a decent candidate in over 30 years (despite having 2 President Bush's)

But OP. Even if Chump does win, he won't be building that wall.

I think its gonna be way closer than people think. I don't trust the polls and I think Trump voters are way more motivated to go out and vote and the vast majority of Clinton supporters are indifferent.

Trump will win and it will be the biggest FU#K YOU to the system.

Clinton is appallingly bad, appallingly. Such a disdain for anyone who is not educated or like her. Clever and coy marketing. I truly believe Trump when he says this woman has hate in her veins. Trump himself is a dangerous man, and no doubt is eyeing up the people he will sort out and all the wagons he will fix.

How different things would have been had Romney got over the line.

Julian Assange claims he has information that will soon be released that will have her arrested.

Either way true or not? Hilary or Trump will make decisions that i feel will lead to global instability. I would not be surprised if the world is mess sometime during the middle of 2017.

Wouldn't bet on it now as there is little value, last year was the time to get around 'twenty fold return' on any stakes on this event.

Have a feeling Trump will win 'Bigly', really bigly. With a poverty line of 14.5% and little signs of change since O'Bama promised it, folks may well take a wild chance with the big lad as the lesser of two evils.

For POTUS 2020: Can foresee either Mr.Terminator (AS) or the Facepage teenager (Zuckerberg) having a good chance. Who knows even Will Smith may like a go. No markets available as yet, would expect 100/1 odds maybe appearing during 2018.

If he actually had that information I think he would have released it around the final deadline for someone other than Tim Kaine to step in for her. It's too late now.

Obama wasn't considered as much of a favourite as Clinton, due to McCain being a moderate Republican and being quite likeable, and I think it was thought that the redneck vote would come out to vote and keep a black man from the White House. Didn't happen. That's why I think it won't happen now. And Trump is disliked by many more people than McCain was so there should be extra people coming to vote to keep Trump out.

No matter how good, bad or indifferent (or corrupt) any previous presidential candidate has been in the past, they have all entered the race with the intention of serving.

Trump is the very first to have absolutely NO interest or intention in serving.

He should ring up Hillary now to concede. My guess is that he loses badly (i.e. by more than one single vote), but bleats on about a fix until the next election.

Its a pity the 3rd party candidates dont even get a look in because of the biased coverage by the media.

I know one of them doesnt know were Aleppo is.

I would have loved to see Bernie Sanders be the Democratic Nominee he would be a better president than Clinton.

Bernie would have been an excellent president.. one for the people.

Which is why he would never getting in ahead of Clinton... the elites made sure of that.

I think Obama was a good president (obviously people have different views on this) But i reckon Bernie would have been fantastic.

But then this shows what is wrong with the world.

In a general election Sanders would have been creamed regardless what candidate the Republicans picked. America are decades away from choosing a guy as far left as Sanders to the top office., just a fact of life.

How exactly is Hillary corrupt? I keep seeing this mentioned. She's supposed to be the most corrupt person ever to run.

Trump bribed attorney generals to fix court cases. Hillary has never been caught giving or taking a bribe.
Hillary took donations to the Clinton foundation. Not a penny of that went her way. There's never been any suggestion that she benefited from it financially. Trump bought a 6ft painting of himself with money from his foundation. He used money from his foundation to settle legal issues. He's said he's donated loads of money but he hasn't.
Hillary is apparently in the pocket of big banks and corporations. Which is why she's raising taxes on corporations, limiting their power and taxing the wealthy more. I have no idea how you can be both in their pocket and do that but apparently that's what she's doing.
Trump is not in the pocket of big business or rich people which is why he's creating tax breaks for the wealthy and for corporations. Tax breaks that will benefit his family business. His business is supposed to go into a blind trust but it's a blind trust run by his kids that he'll still have control over.

Clinton has released tax returns. Trump refuses to do it. When he's asked to he says it's because he's being audited. The IRS says that he's allowed to show them.

Clinton apparently messed up Benghazi. Despite loads of investigations by congressional and senate committees, run by republicans, she hasn't faced a single charge and all reports compiled by the committees say that she was not personally liable for anything that happened.

She had an email server at home. Ok, that was bloody stupid. When I heard that I thought "How can anyone be allowed to do that?". But she's not the first. Loads of republicans too have used personal email accounts for work. Hell, Sarah Palin used a yahoo account for work and personal business when she was governor of Alaska. Blackberries were destroyed? Well, they're supposed to be destroyed. they're the guidelines. Doesn't matter how you wipe them, give them to me and I'll get info from them. The only way to be safe is to destroy them with extreme prejudice.

And to top it all off, Trump has sexually assaulted loads of women.

Guess anyone has the chance to win, as long as you have $1bn to spare, or if your husband has done it first.

Interestingly Ivanka Trump is 200/1, or Michelle Obama 50/1 to win in 2020. Defiantly think the billionaire Zuckerberg has a real chance.
