I have a feeling this will be a high scoring game of approx 50 aggregate points.

Munsters main attack is in the tight while Ulsters is out wide.

rassie erasmus just gave a very impressive interview on tg4.

Ulster should win at home I'd imagine? Wonder will Munster maintain momentum from last week. Hard game to call though as I'd have neither team much ahead of the other, so home advantage might be enough for Ulster.

Pitch looks fantastic. Hopefully a pretty decent game. Think ulster are going to be too strong for us today especially with the half back pairing and bench.

Munster had two men contesting that garryowen compared to Ulster's one.

    Poor.

brilliant by jackson and gilroy - no stopping piatau from there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

How did we give that up? :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Lovely kick from Jackson and smart knock down by gilroy but awful that we had 2 go for the one ball.
Had defended quiet well up to that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,214 ✭✭✭letowski

Conway had no business going for that..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

In the replay, it's looked like it was knocked on by Gilroy into Stweetnam, then He knocked it on into Piatau's path.
Not that I'm complaining or anything :P

    Cave already off.

Piutau to centre, Gilroy to FB and Lyttle to the wing?

Hmmm.. lack of creativity, even though we're winning the breakdown battle

Think Munster are overdoing the short side stuff a bit. Then they go wide the other way and throw a woeful pass behind everyone.

Entertaining and fairly relentless game so far.

The sub was a mile offside before that turnover

Rory Scholes would be getting so much game time at Ulster this season.

    Not even any contact there.

    EDIT: never mind...

  • Administrators Posts: 54,424 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

Fair call. A weaker ref would have given a yellow there.

Commentator saying he didn't even catch him!!! Clearly catches him with swinging arm but when POM was falling.

They are often given, but I hate penalties like that. Player did NOTHING wrong.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,079 ✭✭✭leakyboots

Yeah POM slipped, nothing in it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,972 ✭✭✭captbarnacles

    Great stuff by Taute there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,710 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Poor from both sides tbh. Ulster can't clear their lines properly.and Munster can't take advantage of all the ball they have.

Justin Bieber in the crowd there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,079 ✭✭✭leakyboots

Poor stuff to have nothing on the board after this opening 20 mins, Ulster have hardly had the ball

How Munster could do with another Paul Warrick.
Utility back with actually good kicking stats.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,424 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

    Wow.

It's incredibly rare to see maul rules actually refereed during a choke tackle.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,214 ✭✭✭letowski

Munster's pack up for this one so far at least, but I've a bad feeling our half backs are going to be our downfall tonight though.

  • Site Banned Posts: 2,055 ✭✭✭Adbrowne

    Poor from Piatau there

The more I see of Taute, the more he looks like the player Munster have needed in that midfield for so long.

keep him for next season and an axis of Tyler-Farrell-Taute woul be brilliant for them, with Arnold and Scannell as back ups

Tried to put him in my fantasy team but he's not there :(

Munster get an overlap and throw two skip passes. F**k me.......

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,710 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Munster have no composure when they get close to Ulster's line.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

Plenty of possession and territory but don't look like breaking through for a try yet.
