Had he stayed where he was at Barnsley he might have got a better move at the end of the season. That said though, it's understandable that he couldn't refuse what is presumably a bumper contract from Villa.

I'm hoping for one of two things:

A) Hanover win and end up celebrating that win for the rest of the season, completely forgetting about the league and hence falling away completely, or
Malaga win and the Hanover players end up being so drained of all confidence for the rest of the season that they can't string two passes together and hence falling away completely.

Looking at La Liga and the match tonight, they certainly look like a team on decline. Umtiti and Roberto just didn't look to be at the level they need to be to play for Barca. Suarez was no where to be seen. Messi had a rough night and lost out a few times. Pique was dreadful. All credit to PSG though, played really well. I'd expect a tough night for them away but ultimately I can't see them over coming a 4 goal lead.

got 1 draw from 2 games against Man City
