If I'm in college, I'm up at 7 otherwise it's about 10. If I was out the night before it depends how I feel.

The alarm is set for 6:46
The kids body clock is set for 6:14
The cats bellies are set for 6:06

I get up somewhere in that timeline.

I generally wake up before 8 and actually get out of bed at 8:20. Weekends I'll probably sleep until half 9 or 10 unless I've been out the night before - then it could be more like noon depending on when I got to sleep.

I get up at 6.27am every day except on sundays when I get up at 6.28am

0520 every day, whether I am working or not. I dont know how people stay in bed late. I have a sister that wont get up on her day off until about 2pm. What a waste of a day.

I love being on a day off and by 1000am I have been up 5 hours and everything that needs to be done is done.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,469 ✭✭✭Olishi4

I set the alarm for 6:00 and then I reset it about 20 more times until I get up at around 7:00.

So then by 5pm you're shattered and have to go to bed. What a waste of an evening.

7:30 in the Weekdays for work, and then it varies on the weekends. I set my alarm for 12:30 which I know is late but I sleep in rather late on my days off.

Between 6:50 and 7:10 for work on weekdays... weekends depends on whether he needs help on the farm (then its usually 9ish) or whether I've been out the night before (then its whenever I can be ars*d getting up), if none of the above, then between 9 and 10am ish at weekends

Totally depends on the toddler and how effective my "ask DADDY to make you breakfast. He makes the BEST breakfasts" thing is that particular morning. Usually between 7 and 7:30.

Our youngest has an internal alarm clock set for 5 am for the past 4 months (we take it in turns getting up with him) :( Dreading to think what effect the times changing will have on him!!
Doesn't help that I'm one of those people that can't go to bed before midnight!

I'm retired and get up at 04.50. Usually go for an 8km. walk before breakfast at 06.40. Same procedure wet or dry, weekday or weekend.

I'm up by 7.30 on weekdays. It would be very rare I would be in bed beyond 8 on the weekend. Once I'm awake I can't stay in the bed, I usually throw myself on the sofa and put on cartoons for the little one if I'm still a bit tired.

Between five and six, but usually closer to five. Yoga and meditation and/or run or swim, then a nice leisurely time before work. I hate being rushed in the morning, really hate it. I pick up breakfast on the five-minute walk to work and eat at my desk while I answer mails and read stuff. I'm always in work early, love that quiet time.

    I'm just a morning person.

I'm still in bed. Only place in the house where there's any semblance of warmth.

    About midday every day.

I have noticed the last while being a little more sprightly in the mornings. Today I was up a whole 15 minutes before I actually had to be. Of course it was still a rush and getting to my destination on time was a life or death situation. Death for the other road users :p

It would be nice to jump up at 4 am with energy and excitement but damn it's hard. Bed is so wonderful. Just lying in it and having internet adventures. Ah bed I love you so.

Weekdays clock set for 7 am, listen to the news and then get up. Weekends it tends to be between 9 and 10ish

    5.45am

Shortly before or after 7.30, depending on whether or not I'm taking the kids to school or not that day.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,058 ✭✭✭whoopsadoodles

My alarm is either set for 5.45am or 6.30am depending on what's what that day.

Weekends I'd tend to wake of my own accord about 7ish.

Tea is always the first thing on the list. Unless a ride is an option. Then tea gets relegated.

Half 7 every day. I could sleep long some days (most) but if I sleep too long I'm sluggish and tired all day.

For everyone up at 5/6 what time is bed time.

On weekdays sometime between 8 and 9am depending on how tired I feel and what time I want to get to work by. Weekends varies a lot but would be very rare I'd be up before 10am and could be 2 or 3pm if I'm hungover etc.

I'm very much an evening/night person, can't stand getting up and find getting up before 8 absolute torture (on the very rare occasion it happens) and between 8 and 9 just about bare-able. On the other hand can't sleep if I go to bed before 12 at night and ideally I would be up until 2 or 3am as it's my favourite time of the night but I'd be even more wrecked in the mornings then.
