Ah good stuff. Was hoping they'd go for an immediate rematch. Last fight was a cracker. I'm guessing this will be in Belfast?

Brilliant - I reckon he will be heading back out stateside again in December for this. Last fight was an absolute cracker!

Carl landed in Vegas last night to continue his training camp there.

Card announced so far looks brilliant. Frampton - Santa Cruz, Garcia-Zlaticanin, Selby-Barros, Josh Taylor & David Benavidez both in fights TBA. Better card than anything Hearn has ever put on without ripping people off with PPV.

Other than a bit more activity in the earlier part of the fight, Can Santa Cruz do anything differently? To me, he doesn't come across as the most adaptable to change things up.

Yeah I struggle to see how he adjusts to be honest. Cant physically throw many more punches than he did in the first fight and Frampton clearly has the power to keep him in check to an extent. I don't think his punches were hurting Carl at all.

Only real fear for me is Carl not getting a fair shake on the cards in Vegas which is a genuine possibility. Hopefully all is fair on the night.

Frampton-Selby in Windsor in the summer looking very likely if they both win which would be massive.

Really looking forward to this. First fight was terrific. Carl seems to be the more adaptable fighter and has better movement, footwork and so on. Expecting a tough fight similar to the first but with Carl to win a clear decision.

Carl a deserved winner in fight 1, but a very competitive fight. I am picking Carl via 55-45 certainty. He needs his A game no doubt.

    .

I think Santa Cruz will throw more this time around, as he didn't really let go til the second half of the fight last time around. That may have something to do with the way he was rocked in the second and made him more wary than normal, but I'm sure it will be part of the plan this time. Of course, that leaves him more open to Carl's counters...

This is a real worry for me. Santa Cruz is a big name out west and will have big support with him. Vegas isn't exactly renowned for it's impartiality.

Frampton got Ring Magazine fighter of the year

Close fight goes to Carl on the cards....It will be close unless it's a KO. Their styles and talent only lend to a competitive and closely fought fight.

British fighters/British based fighters I feel tend to get the nod in close fights in the States. Brook/Barker/Degale being three recent enough examples.

I don't have a great feeling about this one as a Frampton fan tbh. A few weeks ago my gut was Frampton is the better fighter all round and I still think that stands true but im worried it's in Vegas with a version of a WBC belt on the line vs a Mexican.

To be honest Santa Cruz could have gotten the nod last time around although I did fell Carl won by a 2-3 rounds on the night.

I think Santa Cruz concentrates on working the body more frequently this time around, while Frampton I feel will concentrate on increased power in his shot selecton and try and dominate the centre of the ring and push Cruz on the back foot early.

I think it will go similar to last time however and both will have spells in every round. It will be what you like for a lot of the fight in terms of scoring

Not much interest in this one, can see another thrilling fight leading to a trilogy once LSC doesnt start slow I fancy him as underdog to win this one.

Not much talk about this. Should be another great fight, fancy frampton to shade it again. Good frampton following at the weigh in anyway - both made weight.

I've been analysing this fight all week. What can Santa Cruz do differently, throw less punches and use his jab? For his size and reach, he criminally doesn't use his jab enough. I also don't think it's in his make up to be on the Blackfoot and waiting for Carl to commit. Really looking forward to how it unfolds later.

Funny, but I thought he didn't throw as much as normal in the first half of the fight. I really expect him to throw a lot more this time.

    Kinda think the same myself.
I thought LSC finished the second half of the first fight the stronger of the two.
I like LSC but I hope Carl can continue his good earlier on work into the latter rounds.

I see Selby's fight was called off. His opponent tested positive for hepatitis.

I thought he started slow aswell but apparently he threw 1100 punches in that fight.

That stat surprised me after the fight, cos it certainly didn't seem that big a number in real time. He looked tentative in the first half, probably after getting rocked, but he only started really letting go in the second half and that's something I really believe he'll try to rectify tonight. Whether it leaves him more open to Carl's counters remains to be seen. Hopefully it will.

    Guesstimate is for either:

    Frampton R7, or...
Cruz R8 (or anytime after this)

I reckon Santa Cruz has this one lads.

I'm biased but I'm going for a Frampton stoppage. That's what I'm hoping anyway.

Anybody watching the fights now? Garcia looks good.

Don't get me wrong, I really want a Frampton win (so does my accumulator)

Yeah he looks very good first time I've properly watched him..

As I type that he's just after killing your man. Jaysus what a KO...

Well 5 thousand people paid decent money to see him do a 1 hour live interview tonight in Manchester so he wouldnt be far off with that comment in fairness.

I think Santa Cruzs work rate wins him a lot of rounds. Throwing a large volume but not really connecting, but catches judges eye.
