New element to SuperValu Real Rewards programme:
Log into your SuperValu account and shop at over 100 retailers to earn Real Reward points. Each point worth 1c in SuperValu vouchers when mailing arrives.
Example : If you're joining Sky Ireland you'll get 2000 points (along with the same deal anyone else joining online does) which is the bargain element I suppose. It's handy if you're going to shop online with these retailers anyway. Check it out, Every Little Helps :p

    https://supervalu.ie/rewards/collect-points

They also have a handy new app. (Early Days yet)

I see it says you can only claim the electric ireland €10 vouchers until December 2016 - hopefully they will extend it as it's a good deal for 500 points compared to the equivalent saving of only €5 in SV vouchers.

It's changing to 250points gets 3€ Electric Ireland but at bonus times during the year 250points will be worth €5 off electric Ireland. It still says only one voucher per bill but I think it you've 2500 points you could get €30 off electric Ireland (remains to be seen- this would be one positive)

Also you only earn 1 point per €3 paid off electric Ireland from January

Briefing from Goodbody in April last mentioned a Super Valu tie-in with Avios / EI which would be great.

Can't see any mention of it in SV's blurb though.

Thanks for this info, very helpful - wish the site was a bit clearer. Seems it is indeed just the bonus part that will be ending in December so. Come January I think I'll be switching to Bord Gais so!

Aer Lingus are the delay factor here; will be launched likely with a reward credit card also,

With Fatcheese effectively useless now, this is a decent cashback site option for anyone already using SV - very limiting if you don't, though.

Received some SuperValu spend & save vouchers in the post (€6 off €30) and I see that they are now also stored electronically on the website and app so I can now use each voucher twice - the electronic copy in SuperValu and the paper copy in Tesco! :D

Nothing has changed! This has been the case since Tesco started accepting them. SV have had the online code on
them always and in my experience the driver never requests them.the fact that they can be seen via real rewards account online now has no bearing whatsoever!

The link up is with BOI all personal boi credit card holders can now link their existing credit card to their real rewards and earns points 1 per €10 spend or 1 per €1 spend in SuperValu (on top of the normal 1 per €1 for real rewards)

Oh sorry I see what your saying now! I was referring to online orders with SuperValu!
If what your saying works that'll be even handier!

I have over 500 points according to the SV recept, but on the website I have less, I don't know why this is.

I can't generate a code for electric ireland yet as they said there is a problem with it, but they are working on it apparently.

Can I generate a code with two different cards at different times I wonder?

Something seems to have changed in June and all the points I had collected prior to June have disappeared. On to their customer service about it but no satisfaction yet.

Thanks OP. If this works it won't be half bad actually. I didn't expect much going by the comments above but itll a bit of a fatcheese replacement for me. Im on another rewards scheme at the moment which includes the likes of aliexpress and travel websites but this gives back more :D

I have found this to be the most frustrating cashback site .. nothing ever works, have to chase everything by several emails ... hardly worth it anymore

electronic vouchers do not seem to exist anymore ... alas! I got some in the post last week but they don't show up in my online account

    Yeah, same for me too.

But all you need to use them in SuperValu is the nine digit code which you can just scribble down on a piece of paper and still save the paper vouchers for use in Tesco.

And if you don't want to be handing the cashier the code scribbled on a piece of paper, just edit the text below, inserting the correct code, valid dates, value and spend threshold, and sent to yourself as they send these codes out as SMSs from time to time too. Just save your own number as a contact in your phone called SuperValu and it'll look perfect! :)

This week save €5 when you spend €25 and quote code 566-716-649 in store or online. Valid 10/08/2017 - 16/08/2017. Unsub text REMOVE to 50015. T&Cs apply.

I can see the spend and save coupons now on my account - I got the postal pack last week, strange for the snail mail to be ahead of the electronic!

Fraid not... that's why you need the actual coupon for Tesco and use the electronic one in SV.

What do you mean the last sentence?

Ah, I thought you meant could you show the SV voucher on your phone.
I've used the competitor coupons in Tesco for things like kettles.

I got a physical voucher for a completely different account. Less than a quarter of the proper value. System is quite messy

I logged onto the site took off all methods of contact saved my profile, put them back on and saved them. Now getting vouchers on line on the app and in the post

Having had interaction with their awful customer service over the last couple of years it's safe to say their systems just aren't good enough

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 740 ✭✭✭holly8

I agree with your customer service & systems comment....I have been using the eShop portal to click through to retail partners....none of my transactions has worked whereby points were automatically added to my account so their system is not robust...and customer service is entirely woeful

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 404 ✭✭garyskeepers

Each point worth 1c in SuperValu vouchers

its not bad,,, people go mad over points, 1 point = 1 cent.... I have a programme that when i collect 1 point it equals 1 dollar off my travel... Now THATS rewards
