I can see them adding any day one games to Premium down the line. I think Stray is both tiers but that may change if they notice people going for the lower tier.

Can definitely see that happening. Surprised the likes of Returnal and demons souls aren't only on Premium but can see new stuff going into it to tempt people to upgrade.

I think the only thing Premium can offer is the timed demos of new games.

Sony were quite specific wrt the tiers, Extra gets you PS4/5 games and Premium adds PS1/2/3/PSP games and PS4/5 remasters of games from those platforms.

The lack of Crash Bash in the Extra tier is just an instant dealbreaker for me.

I still have to play some of the games that came free with the PlayStation 5. I think this can wait a while.

Just got the "it's nearly time" mail confirming I'll be switched over to the Premium tier on the 23rd.

Got the mail saying I'll be migrated to the Essential plan. May look to upgrade it to either Extra or Premium depending on the games available

I also got the email upgrading my account - if I stack 2 years of plus now will they upgrade those 2 years to premium as well?

Unfortunately there are none. All the keys dried up at the start of the pandemic and nowhere restocked Irish keys.

The only way to get cheaper PS+ is to buy it when it's on offer on PSN.

Last good deal I got was 12 months ps plus from smyths November 2021. 40 euro. Maybe we'll see offers after everyone gets moved to new ps plus tiers. Maybe not until black friday tho.

Yeah there is an email from April saying 22nd and then one from last week saying the 23rd. I think the transition starts tomorrow and everybody should be moved over by end of Thursday

Yep. The mail sent on 16th June had it's subject as "New Playstation Plus arrives 23 June"

Just checked my account there because I was due to be charged tomorrow for a month of Plus. But it's now reading 2025 for next renewal date...

Just looked at mine on the website and noticed the date is US format. Anyone know how to get it to the correct format? Seeing 11/02 as Plus expiry date, I naturally assumed 11th February then saw Now date as 10/30/2023.

New ps plus is now live. I've premium until May next year, same date from previous sub. Ps now still showing expiring April 2023

Just see it ow myself. Premium until Plus would have renewed next Mayfor €120. Grand. Now is still showing as due to renew next year too at the normal €60. EA is set to cancel in August. Not sure if that's when it was due to renew, but I don't remember cancelling it. Am I remembering right that it's becoming part of PS+ or have I stumbled onto something?

For now, it doesn't seem to be active on the PS5 store. You can click into the banner, but it brings to the page if yesterday. But worked on the App anyway. NBA 2K22 and Returnal downloading.

For me, it's 10 euro to upgrade to Premium for next 2 months. Will be a good trial to see what the classics are like. Then will see if it's worth keeping or get Extra instead. I wonder if you turn off auto renewal and get extra, does it socially kick in when Premium expires or straight away? Also, if one tier expires before you move to either tier, do you lose access to previous monthly games?

Mines just on essential until November and 24 quid to upgrade to premium, I suppose there's enough in the classics to warrant that but not much else for me to upgrade for.

Upgrade to Extra for the remaining 993 days for €100, or €150 for Premium.

€85.97 to upgrade to Premium for 552 days remaining on my membership or €57.31 for Extra, still considering whether to upgrade. Made me reconfirm my subscription which seemed to turn on auto renew before showing the prices though which is a bit sneaky

I don't think so - EA Play is part of Gamepass Ultimate, the new PS Plus got Ubisoft+ Classics.

Not sure why your renewal turned off.

Anyone else finding games in the catalog that are still listed with a price? Found the two Atari Flashback Collections in the classic games section but both are still listed at €14.99.
