Unless he gets injured, Sanchez all day

    I'm seriously tempted by Austin.

    Walcott at the moment.

Poll fail. At least give us an Other option.

    GW8 is Captain Aguero week.

I don't care if he has no legs, he can't find his boots or he's not even on the pitch. He's captain for GW8.

He will now get injured for Argentina

Not messing but i'll be astonished if he's not injured at some stage soon what with the crazy fixture schedule and his injury history, not to mention the high intensity Pep has them playing at Man City

I thought Iheanacho might reach £13m himself with the rate people were transferring him in, many of them after Aguero's ban was served

Both Captain favourites are returning from long haul flights from SA which dosent help the decision, leaning towards Sanchez at the min.

Sanchez and hoping he starts. Makes more sense to rest him midweek against Ludogorets, and hoping Arsene sees it the same way :)

This is concerning me massively as I have the 2 of them. Both played 2 full matches (Aguero subbed for last 15 mins of 1st game).

Aguero declared himself fit for the 2nd game despite a calf strain. Now after both played a full 90 mins on Wednesday to then fly back to England for a game at 3pm Saturday and be in top form is a big ask.

Add to the fact that they both have Champions League games comin up then you'd have to seriously think they'll be rested. Aguero in particular given they have Barca away and Pep will not want to risk going into that game without his main striker. Arsene also has form in resting Sanchez after the international break.

Completely forgot city had Barca midweek
Add in the fact Everton have really tightened up under koeman and that leads me to the inevitable conclusion
    Benteke

I strongly fancy (c)hadli to score in WBA v spurs this weekend but I don't have the grapefruits to put the armband on him.

After mulling over Sanchez/Aguero for two weeks I'm very tempted to punt it on Benteke now! This one will go down to the wire, I'm expecting 10 captaincy changes between now and tomorrow morning before making the wrong one! The Aguero GW8 magic surely can't happen again! ;)

    Considering Hazard.

Leicester have lost all their away games, conceded an average of more than 3 per game (4 v Liverpool and United, 2 v Hull).

Hazard got a goal and an assist in both Belgium games in the past week.

Could be worth a shot. Hopefully the Belgium wins are a sign he's back to the great form he was in at the start of the season...

Austin has looked sharp but Burnley have impressed defensively when I've seen them. They kept out Liverpool, Watford and we're very unfortunate to concede, last time out, against Arsenal.

I think there are better options.

Their away record is a completely different story, 3-0 defeats in both games.

I'm still tempted by Austin but will probably stick with Sanchez

Ye they have played 5 at home and only 2 away due to the Liverpool game being switched. They have struggled in both away games. 6 goals in 2 away games conceded. 3 goals conceded in 5 home games.

Not the hottest sample size in town though the away games.

Thats true. Two tough games leicester and chelsea. However against liverpool and arsenal at home although Burnley didnt have much possession they didnt really give up many clear cut chances whereas in the the two away games they could have been a lot worse than they were. I think at home its a real old fashioned stadium, the facilities are poor by PL standards, crowd are up for it and close to the action. Wenger alluded to it in his post match press conference going there is a different experience than most other grounds in the PL. I think that its a big reason in why they can do quite well at home. I have been there quite a few times and it is always windy which doesnt help opposing teams either.

As a matter of interest what happens if neither play at all!!...?...I think it means you get zero Captaincy bonus points and a lot of people will be in that position....unlikely to happen but you never know.
