Like i said last week, Strowman can destroy everything and everybody between ppv's but doesnt get the job done on the big shows, i like the character but im bored of him now doing the same nonsense every week

Same thing as with Bray Wyatt.

Bray was awesome to start with. Great promo. Menacing. New gimmick. But he never actually won major matches. So he's now confined to geekdom in the midcard.

They say wins and losses don't matter, yet they obviously matter enough when it comes to Cena, Brock and Roman to the point that shít matters involving them, but nobody else.

    Classic WWE logic.

I usually like the 24s but found this one very boring apart from the few minutes of Undertaker and the Hardy boys stuff.

At least we learned how Nikki Bella messed up her neck - by not being able to do a simple wrestling move!

I finally finished making my way through this and I was given a not-so-swift reminder of why I just delete RAW from my planner nowadays. It took 3 days to watch a 3 hour show which says it all really. Last week was the first I watched in months and it was awful but I really enjoyed the Rumble so figured with Rousey & Elimination Chamber qualifiers as well as it officially being WrestleMania season that this would have to be good

Must say I was very impressed with Banks and Asuka. Nasty bumps, great no giving up story telling. I wish they'd have had Sasha not tap though and lose by going unconscious

    Three matches announced for tonight

Jason Jordan/Seth Rollins vs The Bar for the RAW tag team championship
Bray Wyatt vs Roman Reigns EC qualifying match
John Cena vs Braun Strowman vs Elias for last man to enter the chamber.

    Worth noting that
JJ apparently needs neck surgery that could put him out for a few months so I'd say this is his write off....

    What'll Cena do this week?
He's gone so lazy & utterly disinterested he might ask Braun to AA Elias for him.

We all knw who is winning that qualifying match between Reigns and Wyatt

Who gives a fiddlers really who is last to come into the chamber

I'd have Seth Rollins turn on JJ putting him out of action which will lead to Angle vs Rollins

It's super obvious who's going over.

Rollins, Cesaro and Sheamus must be sick of wrestling each other.

The eater of worlds of course

Seeing rumours of jordan on twittee being out with a serious neck injury hopefully not true havent seen any credible source yet.

Would be some hell of a weird coincidence being kurts fake son

If true it's probably a good way of finally turning him heel. The Bar to kayfabe put Jordan out of action for Jordan to return in time turning on Rollins for not having his back.

Or as I said have Rollins turn heel and put JJ out of action

We could then get Angle vs Rollins and pray Rollins doesn't kill Angle

Bray to win this. Right? RIGHT?!?

So on the very slim chance that Reigns wins, who are the last 2 expected to be?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 505 ✭✭✭Pinkman

What is Rollins going to do at Mania if that is true about Jordon? If Mania match with Dean was shelved due to injury as well. Very bad luck.

One option is a triple threat for the IC belt against Miz and Finn.

I'd also like to see Seth in the Chamber match and have him and Reigns pin each other leading to a triple threat with Lesnar. No one wants to see Brock Vs Roman again when the finish is so predictable. Putting Seth in there would work well given the cash in at 31. He's paid his dues in the midcard for over a year so it would be good to see.

    This was so fúcking stupid.

I love Braun. He's one of the few new stars that they've actually booked properly in the main.

but i fúcking hate WWE's nonsense. you book Elias to win. that's fine. you even book Braun to hit the move that beat Cena, and for Elias to steal the cover. that's fine. but why the fúck do you have to hammer it home that Elias is not on the level of Braun by just having Braun annihilate him afterwards. Why? Honestly, why? just have Elias run off, and have Braun beat Cena up if you have to. he's invincible to bad booking at this stage. he's just Cena.

why do they actively try to stop guys actually getting over to any great level bar their chosen people?
why wouldn't you want to make stars of everyone you can, and protect some of your new stars?
why feed everyone to your top 2 or 3?

    it's so fúcking idiotic.

the business has well and truly passed me by.

not 1 reigns match but 2 in the one night, helping out his shield brother and then JJ comes out and ****s it all up

think Cena is going to **** off after mania and not return for a while, he seems so disintersted in wrestling

who will be the last man in the mens EC match ?? Samoa Joe ?

We have 5 in Braun, Cena, Elias, Roman, Miz and then the last is chosen next week in the second chance match.

I'm thinking Finn wins next week and eliminates Cena in the Chamber. I'd say order of elimination will be Elias, Miz, Cena, Finn, Braun. I think Cena will be out early enough to add to the story of how he's just trying to get to Mania and since Finn stops him, that sets up that match.
And going by how Cena was showing to be exhausted in this week's match seems they're leading to something.

So we get 2 Reigns matches and 3 women's matches. They're really driving those 2 points home.

So fatal four way match next week between Finn, Bray, Matt and Apollo. As others have said I think Finn will progress and then eliminate Cena in the match. The following Raw, Cena will call out Finn for stopping him getting to Wrestlemania, first eliminating him in the rumble and then in the chamber. Kurt will come out and announce the 2 for Wrestlemania (not saying it's going to happen that night but …?)

There is 5 Mondays from the Monday after Elimination Chamber to the go home show for Wrestlemania. Although this is WWE we are talking about so anything could happen between now and then.

I say Cena will leave for a bit after Mania, and Miz and Maryse are due their baby two days before Mania, so we could have Miz Vs Finn for the IC title the Monday after Raw and Miz will then be gone for a couple of weeks to spend time with his family. You could have Finn eliminate Miz and Cena. Miz could attack Finn after his WM (win?) Because he got a match at Mania and he isn't even champion. Kurt then makes a match on the Monday for the IC title Finn wins and Mix ****s off for a bit ?.

As for Alexa calling out Brock, I loved that and so did the audience. Also I know we are sick of Sasha being Women's champion but a) I think it's time that Alexa dropped the title and took a step out of the title picture for a whole b) I don't see anybody else winning it. Unless they decide to have Mickie James win and tie with Trish Stratus for the number of Women's championship reigns.
I don't want to see Bayley with the title, I can't see Mandy Rose or Sonya DeVille as champions.

Although they could have Mickie win for the reason above and then focus on the rivalry between Sasha and Bayley, that is if they ever run with that idea.

Now that Seth won't be facing the bar again and his two tag partners are injured and Roman is going to be universal champion (more than likely), he will more than likely be pushed a singles star again.

So now that on Raw Seth can't face Sheamus or Cesaro again and on SD new day can't face Usos again. I can see some of them being drafted after WM. I know there are a couple of tag teams and stables but there are not many who you could see as champions

Cena seems to be in a weird spot between regular and part-timer now and crowds don't really seem to know what to make of it.

He doesn't have the same gravitas as part-timers like Brock and Goldberg and he doesn't seem like a believable threat as a regular.

Cena is heading for the Big Show, Jericho, Kane zone. Terrible really, he should still be a big big deal.

If they are going with Cena vs Taker at mania than I can see on the next night on Raw a frustrated Cena will do an angry/emotional promo about what mania means to him and what's to prove he's still got it and challenges Taker to a match ???

I'd be ok with Balor (the demon would be a preference) vs Cena though

I'm not his biggest fan but comparing Jericho to those 2 on any level is laughable
