    Hi,
I am an Architectural Technologist with about 2 years experience in a firm of approx 20 people. I have been lucky enough to be able to work on a wide range of projects (housing, office fitouts, commercial).

However, recently I feel like I would like a change. My salary could be a lot better and I'd like the opportunity to work on larger scale projects. I am open to the idea of upskilling in order to improve my marketability. I know some of the IT's provide BIM master's, are there any other 'in demand' areas that you would suggest focussing on?

Are you serious ? Have you looked at the internet (riai.ie first) ??

"You will be part of one of the only firms in Ireland at BIM Level 2. They have a number of exclusive projects in BIM worth millions of Euro in and are constantly adding to their portfolio. They are now looking to appoint a BIM Manager to join their Dublin based office"

Needlessly condescending. I am not a BIM manager nor do I have the skills to be one. I have never used BIM in practice only tutorials etc.

Maybe you should read his question first. As the above its remotely what he was asking.

I moved to dublin an got a job as an Architectural Technologist last year and i found most of the firms at that time looked for BIM as a requirement.
However where i moved to didnt require it. Since then i've done an evening course in Dublin Institute of Design which was a starter course for Level 2. Very good course and i'm using Revit at home to gain knowledge and speed.
