Yes, theres no problem with doing that. Although you'd want to increase your parcel motel insurance and Apple may call you to make sure that its you and take you through some additional security stuff.

No problem. I've. Even buying from the Belfast store since the iPhone 4.
This year I was away for launch weekend so I ordered online and delivered through PM and it was in my house launch day night.

Can I also suggest Parcel Wizard. See Here

Similar service as Parcel Motel but with added advantage of delivering to any specified address instead of a collection point.

Anyone any idea how long the 7 would take if ordered from UK? I am looking at the gold 128GB model. I had a 6....which is gone (long story). Needed a quick replacement, so bought a 5S for €400 (they had no 6 models in stock). I'm well away from an upgrade on contract, so looking to buy direct from Apple UK, which is about €100 cheaper. I think my OH would be happy with the 5S. Its €793 from UK....so 800 really. but 889 from ireland

I hope you used Revolut. Great savings to be made and in the past 2 days the rates they were giving were excellent

until Apple charge the card - which they do when it's being loaded on to the courier's truck - you may be better/worse off. Still Revolut is the way to go.

If using a 3rd party PO box to get your iPhone please for the love of all things Apple get the extended insurance that they offer (Parcel Motel do this not sure about the others).

true I forgot about that feature, I was assuming you'd top up in euro and just let the charge go through.

Thats only necessary if you load over 1k. It also only takes a day for them to verify.

I'm in Dublin. I have just downloaded the APP and have a virtual card and ordered a free physical card. Will be interesting to see how this thing works.

And it only took about 2-3 minutes to verify my identity. Not bad so far

Yeah I was loading it to buy 2 iPhone 7's. It was verified in minutes in fairness to them. I done it on my iPad if that makes any difference, but I don't see how.

They don't take money from your card until its dispatched, so you could try in the 3/4 weeks you're waiting

will it be 3/4 weeks or any likely hood be sooner ?

Some people are saying they got it a week before Apple's estimate. It takes 3/4 working days for it to be delivered after dispatch, then if you are using ParcelMotel it takes longer.

Use a Revolut card to get guaranteed rates and the best exchange rates. You can get a 128GB iPhone 7 Plus for 909e vs. the 1029e on the irish site.

Download the app. Set up account. Top up in Euros. Exchange Euros in the app for Sterling. Go to Apple.co.uk. Buy Phone using ParcelMotel for delivery.

Thank you so much:-) I just read thread about revoulut and people saying there to better not keep bigger amount of money there, so it's mean it isn't safe? And also I read there be some charges, can I close account on revolut after use it to get iPhone?

    No bother :)

I think its safe. many "boardsies" use it and its fine. The charges you read about are probably bank charges or other charges that wont apply to you for just using it to buy an iPhone. If you top up over 1k, you have to send them a scan of your passport or I.D. because of Gov regulations. You can stop using it when you like

Just to let people know Apple won't deliver to forwarding companies. I ordered last night from .co.uk site. Used PM address Within minutes I received email telling me to provide a new shipping address within 7 days or else the sale would be cancelled.

I replied with my home address straight away. About 5 min later I received a call from a cork number it was apple checking some details and updating my shipping address.

I was buying the SE worked out at €430 delivered:)

Really strange as I could not have been luck 3 times, and then every other boards user lucky too, this year and last year and so on.

I wonder is it somehow connected to the way the delivery address was inlutted?
Did you click the "this is a business address" tab?

Really strange, I'd re-order straight away!

Yes, Apple also call to confirm billing address linked to the credit card but then shipped to PM in Belfast who then ship to me.

    Did you click it?

I don't think it's an issue with them not delivering. When i spoke to them they just changed details to my home address. The money is gone from my account so I'm sure it has been processed. Just thought it would save people the hassle of the call if they didn't use PM. Didn't mean to worry anyone.

Yeah he said he would update details. The money has been taken from my account but no dispatch email yet. I'm assuming it will be Monday as it was close to 8pm when I spoke to them last night
