Swansea v Liverpool, 12.30, Sky Sports

Can Liverpool extend their winning streak? Can Swansea end their losing streak? We'll find out in a few hours. Lovren should return for Liverpool, the rest should be unchanged from last week.

Hopefully a good away win, but I don't think Liverpool have won a league game on this ground yet.

Oh right, well we have a bad record there anyhow. I remember 2 draws and 2 defeats there. I remember the league cup win there as well, strange I don't really remember that win.

Swansea XI vs. Liverpool: Fabianski; Rangel, Hoorn, Amat, Naughton; Fer, Cork, Britton; Routledge, Sigurdsson; Borja.

    No Llorente for Swansea.

Interesting test this for Liverpool's progress under Klopp. Would previously have been a type of 'Banana Skin' fixture.

Good to see how they handle it,

I fully expect a Liverpool win as I think this Klopp side is a different proposition to the one that lost 3-1 before.

3-0 Swansea and a "Klopp Out" banner to be unfurled by the end of the game.

Hopefully a nice quiet match thread today.

Handy 3 points for Liverpool and then the Swansea become the first team to give their manager the boot and be heavily linked with Big Sam

This won't be easy. Should be 1-0 Swansea already.

Not sure why Matip would take that long cross field option........

I'm just performing final checks on the Piper Cub, we'll be taxiing down the runway momentarily.

Thought it was offside but can't excuse the defending

Swansea might actually come out and play unlike Burnley.....still plenty to go for here.

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,859 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

Even if it was offside it was so marginal as to not really matter.

No team can do the high energy thing all the time in all games.

It can be a problem if it doesn't happen from the start and the opposition capitalise.

You'd expect that goal to wake them up and get their game on :)

Not going to happen now, 5star.

Lacklustre display so far but credit Swansea for their cutting off our passing lanes and making us go long.

    Definitely offside on that angle.

    ****ty defending though.

Has Coutinho touched the ball yet?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,130 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Giving it away if we insist on crossing it so much.

Lovren and Matip look really ordinary today

The more I see of Karius the less I like him......which is obviously a harsh thing to say but......

    Firmino's onside easy there.

Yea, no composure, we've seen he can play but all over the shop at the moment....

Jesus he's played hardly any games. At least give him time to settle into the side.

Can we gat at least one linesman knows the office rule

    ******

It will be at least 8 months since our last clean sheet when we next keep one. I don't really care if we win though, but little sign of that so far today. Swansea not letting us do anything so far, they've been really effective.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,983 ✭✭✭✭NukaCola

Midfield being over run a bit
