    looking to buy an item on donedeal , item in other end of country , but if i use paypal and lets say the item never arrives or defective etc

    will they cover me ?

    can i claim money back and if so can you provide a link stating this ?

    its not from an auction or a business , its a personal sale

    You should be covered but do not use the option to send Money to fiends or family, use Pay for good and services, if seller agrees to take item back make sure that you send back by register. You can check the buyer protection page for more info

    Another personal comment, if you are buying anything expensive like phones, etc I would try to use adverts, you can see feedback, there's lots of scams on Donedeal, but not all the sellers are scammers.

    as mentioned above you should be covered.

    Paypal generally always sides with the buyer in the case of a dispute
