Can't wait for this one, gutted if we lost. No idea on the injuries front? If fit the bench is very strong, competition for places has increased.

Both sides will be confident of claiming all 3 points, City's defence remains the same, weak. Plenty of attacking players that can murder you, given the chance.

Need width and pace, it was only until N'Koudou came on that changed the game against CSKA. Janssen needs service, otherwise he's the perfect foil for holding up play, whilst others bomb forward.

Although I wouldn't be surprised if he plays Son as the loan striker. There's options.

Be great to win but at least a draw important to keep confidence high

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,284 ✭✭✭DubPerryman

Yeah there's goals in this game, so it could go either way.

After Wednesday night it is probably unlikely that they will start Kolorov at centre back, unfortunately.

De Bruyne missing is massive. He's arguably the best player in the league right now.

Son is playing on the left now.

I reckon the little magician Silva will give us hard time. Fernandhino (sp?) and Dembele will be fun to watch.

I also think confidence is key here so whoever will score the first goal will win this.

Hope their defense play like they did against Celtic, either way I fancy our chances of beating them.

I think a draw should be no trouble, a win is very doable. It'll be close. Would hate to see liverpool being second going in to the break too.

Son as the lone striker has been a superb decision.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,057 ✭✭✭tippspur

Great stuff from Spurs so far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,019 ✭✭✭davycc

We need a 3rd just to kill them off

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,926 ✭✭✭Sugarlumps

Speed in which the 1st half was played, it's nuts.

Entire team work ethic has been phenomenal. Amazed if they can keep that up. Next goal is crucial.

No point getting into a slagging match, but Spurs are as bad as Liverpool supporters for hoping 'this is our year'.

If you read the spurs supporters forum the last couple of years there has been some, if not rabid, hope of a title. And not without merit.

Wanyama has been brilliant, but i'd take him off. Can't afford a red card in this game.

I think we have to hope he can control his tackling.would be difficult for a sub like dier to come in and settle to this pace
