Apply for a Masters without a bachelors?

    Hi everyone!

So, just to summarise what I mean quickly. I'd like to apply for a Masters degree based on a few years of unique experience I've spent being involved and taking part in efforts in a turmultuois region however, I don't have a bachelors.

I've written my proposal but even before sending it I faced rejection based on an enquiry I sent to an NUI university; is my goal achievable? Should I contact supervisors directly rather than university admin?

Any advice would be very much appreciated.
