What I am after is a lightweight laptop for travelling, with W10 and the full functionality of a windows machine.
What I like about this is
    the 512Gb SSD
    the weight
    1.1kg
    Decent screen.
    3 USB ports

I am not that bothered about the Bang & Olufsen with dual speakers
but wonder how much of a markup does that bring to it?

Is there a better machine out there for that sort of mula?

I don't have time to buy online as I need it to bring with me Saturday to a funeral in Calgary
    Thanks as always.

I suppose it depends on what you plan on doing with this machine. Ultrabooks are unfortunately, very damn expensive.

A quick search yields this: http://www.pcworld.ie/Product/asus-zenbook-ux305-133-laptop-white/330103/396.0.0
    Smaller ssd, better screen.
Edit: A review has me seriously reconsidering recommending this due to:
While I enjoy an excellent overall experience with the UX305, once the laptop digs into its reserve battery tank, the Intel Core m3 chip's performance suddenly plummets. It's a problem you'll likely never run into until after 6 hours of usage, but it's a huge annoyance when I struggle to even draft a single email as the laptop slows to a crawl.

    There is also this: http://www.harveynorman.ie/computing/laptops/hp-spectre-x360-laptop-13-4102na.html

And this, if you don't mind not having a full metal body: http://www.harveynorman.ie/computing/laptops/acer-aspire-s13-13.3-laptop-s5-371.html

X_R, much obliged for the research,
the one I linked to has a backlit keyboard as well so I think I will just do it, now that you have confirmed that they are proxy so I think the 512 would be better used than a better screen with 128SSD, albeit 300 euro cheaper(nett)

Thanks, just wonder, given the dual language influence, is the keyboard standard?

ps just looked at the link, its preorder, not out till October 21st. thanks anyway for looking and getting the heart to flutter a bit.:)

Just double checked the link, reason it's pre-order is it's got the new 7th gen processor, there exists a current version with 6th gen sure some of the larger Canadian retailers would be carrying it.
