When she's locked in Charlotte Flair is world class, her match against Rhea at Mania 39 is the best North American women's match ever IMO and I struggle to think of many better wrestlemania singles matches.

Yeah though the build to that was crap as well so I'm hoping the match with Tiffany will go the same way but she is actually one of the worst I've ever encountered on the mic.

Her ego will never allow it but she needs a manager to cover her clear inadequacies.

Charlotte needs to go back to promo school.

Thought Tiffany's barbs were very good, but they didn't land at all because of how Charlotte reacted to them, talking over her multiple times and making them real to her.

The second Charlotte won the rumble was always going to cause issue, she represents the past with the stunting of other female wrestlers getting no opportunities. As a character she's stale and no one has any interest in her or a potential squash or stratton. The only way they can fix it is by allowing Stratton to win but we know that won't happen with nature boy dick flair sitting front row

The women's tag title match is being setup we a pre show match also with a makeshift team challenging just to get on the card. More than likely bayley and Lyra which will highlight the fact that neither secondary womens belts will be defended on the card

I thought they did land, tbh, cause Charlotte looked rattled, and not in a "oh she's a good actor" way. The attempt to downplay them by just embracing them with a childish voice was incredibly weak too. "The Nepo Queen" wasn't actually a bad retort, but the delivery screamed she hated trying to say it.

Dirtsheets reporting the two went off script, and Charlotte's final attempt at a shot (about Kaiser) while the music was playing and the crowd had already stopped paying attention to her screamed "I must have the last word".

The boos are at a "Go away" heat level too.

yeah Charlotte did what Charlotte does which is to make it all about her. I also don’t know how after ten years, she is still so bad at promos and gets so easily rattled but the crowd or her opponent.

As you say @Lord TSC that kaiser comment was Charlotte trying to get a shot in. It missed badly imo.

I think Charlotte just tanked any possibility that she gets the red carpet rolled out again for Wrestlemania season. This feud has been tough for Stratton but she proved last night that she is by no means out of her depth at the top of the card.

Not once have I ever cared about a single thing Charlotte does. She is athletic. That is quite literally all she has. The only reason anyone cares about her is because she is a nepo baby, who has been handed the accolades of being the 'greatest of all time' when she is absolutely nothing of the sort.

She's a charisma vacuum. She is an athlete who happens to be a Flair. Her status in WWE deserves to be resented by the fans. And she's too crap at her job to even roll with it.

Charlotte is genuinely, and easily, the best in ring performer of the 4 horsewomen.

She has a ton of worth, but between how Vince presented her and how she wants to be presented now, she'll never reach the heights she should.

I'll always be sore over Asuka jobbing to her.

Alright Smackdown, far from essential. Seems like the stories are just set so they're not adding much to them.

Happy for Lyra to be getting a Mania match but would much prefer if the US and IC women's belts were being defended at Mania. After all the work they put into building up turmoil in the tag division not having a Mania match with all the teams is a real blow. Especially given that heatless New Day match is on the card, probably just to make up for how their heel turn has been kinda bungled.

Loved the Naomi/Jade promos, that feud has been shockingly good. Great showing from Fenix again, Berto was a good opponent for him too. Orton vs Aldis could be a lot of fun if it happens, certainly seems like it was teased. The Cody promo was good but the Cena heel turn has been so lackluster because he hasn't been around and while I'd be happy with a Cena win, if he's not gonna be there as champion, I have no interest.

The other issue with the Cena turn is the lack of clarity from the rock and the fact nothing has been mentioned what did the rock do to get him to turn, does he have anything on Cena etc. also since the rock hasn't even appeared once since EC
