If somebody could do a meme of a split screen of Aguero and Ibra and writing under Ibra " Look at me, I am the captain now" that be great :pac:

He's still owned by 55.1% of teams.

I'll probably be going with Aguero. Not overly confident, but using my next 2FTs to do Aguero-Ibrahimovic-Aguero when my defence is in sh1te doesn't appeal to me.

What percentage of them are still active though, amd how many of them will captain him.

Quite a lot of active players have him. I'm currently 10th in a fairly competitive league. 16 of the top 20 have him, or have gotten him in for Aguero this week - and its still only Tuesday.

Anyone with Ibrahimovic and without Sanchez would probably captain him. Given Sanchez low ownership, thats a lot. Also, its so early in the season, I can't see there being too many inactives in the top, say, 500k anyway.

Yes, I can see from the movement in their money in the bank what transfer they have made (most likely).

For example one guy had zero in the bank on Sunday but on Monday it was 1.3m (12.9 original price of Aguero - 11.6 for Ibrahimovic). He then lost 0.1 in team value last night with no other movers, so he had to have bought the Swede.

I own Ibra, Aguero, Sanchez and Firmino and am going Ibra C, Sanchez VC.

Like someone said Ibra is due a big score. Last week's match was a bit of a freak that he was not involved in any goals or assist. Being the decoy run at the back for the corners probably didn't help.

Suddenly I'm considering Firmino, Lukaku Deeney and then back to Kun!!!
Hope Alexis eases my concerns tonight.

Mentioned it the weekend, he will regress something awful very soon, probably now as they begin a good run of games.

He's scored in 5 out of 6 shots on target this season, not even Aguero would keep that up!

Tricky and possibly very important captain call this week.

Agueros record vs Spurs is fading into history a bit. The Spurs defence of this past season or 2 is very a different animal to the one he used to score for fun against. Both teams after CL action with City in particular having a high tempo game.

Sanchez is on fire oop and has a good record vs Burnley, but mostly at home. Burnley don't usually give much away at Turf Moor. Post CL slump risk here too.

Liverpool have scored more away goals than any other side while Swans defence has been conceeding plenty. They were better against City but still conceeded 3 in the end. But the unpredictability of who'll get those points in the Liverpool mids makes it risky. Mane tempts me still though.

Ibra is the stand out candidate but Stoke can only improve, and aren't as bad as recent results. They've moved Cameron in to shield the defence more and will be parking the bus. Ibra playing tonight is a factor. As a non Ibra owner those are things that comfort me, if you own him you probably have to captain him. If you don't captain him in this fixture you never will, and if so he's not worth 11.5m of your budget.

Meanwhile there is Capoue, a defensive mid at a team which will be doing well to stay clear of the relegation zone, and who has scored an unfeasible 4 of his 5 shots.

Oh and Lukaku vs a Palace defence missing 2 first choice players. He has a sore toe though. Only marginally less crazy a call than Capoue?

For me personally it's probably between Sanchez (sensible) and Mane (punt). Don't have Zlatan.

Good analysis FHFC. This GW is russian roulette captain. The kind that makes me wish for alternate FPL rankings without (C) pts taken into account. I'd really like to see how important or not the difference would actually be.

I don't have Ibra and have Rashford too. Let's first see how United line-up tonight. Hopefully that'll give us some good info for this week-end.

In your position, maybe Costa ain't a bad call. Hull have been conceding a huge amount of goals. Costa's fresh. He's been on a very good scoring run. Chelsea ain't in top form but Costa's their likeliest player to be involved in anything they score.

Firmino is 'Pool roulette. I own him too. Am tempted. But...

Ozil. As a few posters said, Arsenal attacking power curently lies in its Iwobi-Sanchez-Walcott trio. Ozil is a great player but he's not consistent enough and doesn't offer the possibility of a huge haul to be a great FPL-player. So (C)ing him is very high risk.

Cheers iroced. Looks like a toss-up between Rashford and Costa so. You just know whichever one I choose will blank and the other will get a goal and assist plus 3 bonus!

Would love to do Lukaku but I don't think I have the balls to captain someone on a Friday night and to spend the rest of the weekend worrying about other players if he blanks.

Captaining Ibra over Aguero for the first time.

Have you looked at their fixtures after the Chelsea game? I expect them to win a few and will be bringing in Snodgrass. They only conceded a goal in each of their home games against Leicester and United. I don't see many teams going there and scoring 4 like Arsenal did. They also went down to 10 men in that game.

A bit like FHFC, torn between Sanchez and Mane. But it's got to be Sanchez I think looking at form and considering he is indisputably Arsenal's main man.. Sounds like Arsenal had a reasonably easy game against Basle too.

Would be exciting to take a punt on Mane though...

Thinking Sanchez, Burnley have a good record at home but Arsenal and Sanchez are in good form at the moment.

Other options are Aguero away to Spurs, Lukaku with his sore toe (and, after last season I swore I would never again captain him), Firmino in a free scoring pool team, but it's a lottery as to who will get the goals. Antonio has been scoring well, but West Ham have been so poor, I wouldn't feel confident having captaincy on him.
