    Starting the Ray D'Arcy Show thread - I feel so...dirty :(

    latest?cb=20121205194057

In a TV first, Brendan O'Carroll, his son Danny and 10-year-old grandson Jamie will be appearing on The Ray D'Arcy Show together this Saturday as the chat show returns for a brand new season. The three generations of the O'Carroll family, who all star in the mega-hit comedy show Mrs Brown's Boys, will be chatting to Ray about family life on and off the set and will no doubt be reflecting on the sitcom's on going success after it was recently named Britain's Best Comedy this century.

    *shudder*

Staying with comedy, the Emmy-award winning series 50 Ways to Kill Your Mammies back on our screens on Monday and the show's creator and stars Baz Ashmawy and his long-suffering mammy Nancy will be appearing with Ray on Saturday night to talk about the third series of their show. 50 Ways to Kill Your Mammies sees a new set of adventurous pensioners coming on board for a series of thrills and spills. Baz and Nancy will tell Ray about their latest adventures, including abseiling in Peru and stealing a Lamborghini. Nancy recently said that she's game for another series of the adventure reality show, saying it's a case of "never say never".

Comedian PJ Gallagher is also dropping by on Saturday to talk about his role in the Irish hit comedy The Young Offenders. The cocaine caper had the highest opening for an Irish film at the box office so far this year and there's already talk of a sequel in the pipeline.

Rounding off the night's entertainment there will be music from The Divine Comedy who recently released their latest album, Foreverland, to critical acclaim.

The Ray D'Arcy Show airs on Saturday, September 24 at 9.40pm on RT One.

Aw the poor ickle puppeh and kitteh!

Hmm. I always say it's a good start if I know the guests.

Guess I'll have to review that policy.

Baz is sound enough, though. And I quite like The Divine Comedy, in a sort of never-put-them-on-myself kind of way.

"Brighten up your Saturday Night with Ray D'Arcy. "

The only way that RTE could brighten up my Saturday night would be if they FIRED Ray D'arcy and gave Brendan HIS job back.

The electricity bill for them was more than the booze budget for the green room.

He's trying to be Graham Norton now is he?

He's need the glass of wine during the show to match Graham, in Ray's case he might use Ribena.

Norton is back next Friday night by the way.

As part of this series, Baz's ma has to take a lift home with him after he's been drinking.

Cool boiled water with a lime segment id say. The ribena would be too full of crsi for ultra heathy Ray.

    Is Baz wearing no socks?!

Does he think he's a member of The Style Council or something?

    (contemporary pop culture reference) 8-)

Cheers, i was wondering that, i think RTE should put Shameless after Ray's show instead of the LLS ;)

Impossible to watch on the RTE stream. Shocking service. The national broadcaster should have that sorted. I'm on 320 Mb broadband and all I get is repeats of some car ad. Piss poor.

I've heard Adblock Ultimate will do the trick for ads if you're on firefox

Is it too late to get him up on the roof and pull it off altogether. Actually send him down to kildare and he can do mine as well.

The rte player has a bug up it's arse about adblockers and refuses to play nicely with people who have them installed.

Yet another way rte shats on those who pay for it.

There should be no additional ads on the RTÉ Player for anyone living in the country, it's a disgrace Joe, so to speak.
