    This year it’s late

Think I got a letter to say that not due until end of Dec or early Jan. Will try find it to confirm

Glas paid into account (tranche 3) waiting on remainder of sfp and young farmers. (It was 6/12 last year) but got the letter saying I was good for the younger farmer again this year. 69euro per hectare this year it is.

I'm looking at my slip on mobile site but although headings are not lining up, I'm pretty sure it's a 0 beneath YFS heading

The reason it was changed was to give it to active farmers .......might as well have left it with me to waste, the way it's gone.

    Aww, did you miss me.

I had to take a break, there was a danger of me killing someone.
I haven't a fancy phone so the belgian trip was a good opportunity to wean myself off boards.
Lovely trip to, belgium subsidised by ICM and FBD, ICM have bought a small plant in Belgium and we were brought through it, and out on farms as well, We were on one farm owned by a vet, a belgian blue suckler herd that never calved naturally nor never reared their calves....go figure......cows would have five or six calves

I'm after getting half of your ten grand wrangler, thanks. I'll enjoy the coke and hookers on your behalf.

Had it for ten years longer than I thought i would.....Talk about luck, most of it was due to a calf not being properly castrated and putting 20 heifers in calf the year of the suckler quota being set....you couldn't write it.

That's a fairly broad statement, I've been burying every spare penny and hour in my place, Theres far more like me than there is spending it in coppers. The yfs is good but it still isn't good enough to attract more young lads into farming.

Same as there more farmers like me working at the same level as we were at decoupling, still doesn't stop the begrudgers accusing us of being undeserving of our SFP.
Like the early retirement was and now this, there's still a lot of partnerships where the parents are doing all the work and I'm sure you know them too

Just edited to say that the reason I'm disappointed that there's no interest from farmers in leasing my entitlement with my land is that I'd like to be able to give my entitlements to the tenant rather than having them go to national reserve and then to someone undeserving.

Sadly allot leasing land have their own but are looking new ground due to higher rents or land no longer available due to sales.
Did you try leasing the entitlements themselves, good prices to be got
