Anyone else get the email about the Referendum? Bit out of tune as I'm only doing an evening course there these times but can anyone inform as to why people want to remove the person from the position etc?

Notice of Referendum
In excess of 500 students of Cork Institute of Technology (in line with the CIT SU Constitution) have petitioned to hold a Students’ Union referendum calling for:
‘The Removal from office of CIT Students’ Union Vice President Education, Denise Coughlan’

There's signs up about it in the main corridor, some ****e about her not doing too much. Wish there was a referendum to get rid of the Union entirely since they all do nothing.
