But when I get a job and can afford it, I'll have another few.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,521 ✭✭✭✭mansize

I think it's important to have kids at an early age.

You never know when you might need a kidney.

    Got 4 of them

Not sure that my 21 and 18 year old sons would consider themselves kids but they will always be my babies.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,734 ✭✭✭✭osarusan

My wife Francis delivered fourteen babies. Seven of them made it. My daughter Rose lives with me. Francis died in '81.

When my kids were real little I used to play a game with them. I'd give each one of 'em a stick and, one for each one of 'em, then I'd say, 'You break that.' Course they could real easy. Then I'd say, 'Tie them sticks in a bundle and try to break that.' Course they couldn't. Then I'd say, "That bundle... that's family."

Zero-ty. And I'm taking medication that shuts down my oestrogen production and I also am running out of time, so zero-ty it shall remain. But I didn't have the maternal gene anyway, the broodiness never hit me. So it's not a tragedy. :)

Have a 10 year old son. He's good fun and I love him to bits. Would have loved a brother or sister for him, but nature said otherwise.

I've no children and it's one of the biggest regrets of my life.

Does having a cat who acts like a rebellious teenager and talks back count? If not then the answer is zero.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,419 ✭✭✭corner of hells

Two.. but I think theres more in house judging by the way food disappears and the amount clothes, trainers and football boots there is.

2 and 1 on the way.

Also have to laugh at the OP's use of the term 'breeders' considering he's to first to get offended at stuff like that.

Nah, the age spread is pretty wide here, lots of people "grew up" here and have been on the site for years either reading or posting. The teenagers are too busy on Reddit, Tumblr, Snapchat and in the YouTube comments section! :P

None, and at 41 and still single I think that's the way it will stay.

The old man was a pensioner by the time I was 9 so being an old dad ain't ideal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,808 ✭✭✭Badly Drunk Boy

I don't know why but I didn't think the After Hours parenthood percentage would be over 50%.

I've none, and I'd say that's how it'll stay at this stage.

So we definitely know who your least favourite is, then...

I'm sure it's a reference to Sophie's Choice, where Meryl Streep had to pick which of her two children got her last Rolo.
(Or which child the Nazis would kill, and which would be sent to a concentration camp.)

4, 6, 7 or 8, depending on who or how you count.

4 with the current wife. 6 biological children. 1 step child (or 2).

    Now grandchildren, that's another interesting Q. Do I count the estranged red-headed stepchild's children? Answer could be 1, 2, 3, 7 or 8. :D
