I expected there to be a little more chat about this fight but things are very quiet. Is Canelo less of a superstar now having ran from GGG? Or does nobody rate Smith? Is it worth staying up for? Any thoughts?

Smith is okay, nowhere near Canelo's level and Canelo should outclass him.

Smith will have to knock Canelo out to have a chance cause he ain't getting a fair shake on the cards. I don't think he has a hope tbh. I do think Smith is tough though and should last till late in the fight if not the full 12.

The big fight of the weekend will be dwarfed in quality by another fight for a second week running. Usyk/Glowacki who have ya got?

    Smith will be stopped.

    Canelo will blow him away.

Usyk has to win this. Much better boxer, and Glowacki is just a bit easy to tag. Usyk inside the distance. He can punch.

Sky Sports 2 just started the broadcast for the Usyk/Glowacki fight.

Glowacki looks quite decent defensively so far and despite his record I don't think Usyk is a really big puncher.

Usyk is making this look very easy. Praying he won't be robbed.

Usyk should have this. Good fight though

I don't think he had it easy at all. He definitely won, but there's a reason he kept moving with his hands high.

    No dance, boourns Usyk

A clinic from Usyk. Glowacki looked an average fighter in the last few rounds throwing wild without any plan. Onwards and upwards for Usyk.

He always has his hands high. And Glowacki has a cannon of a left hand. I mean he KOd Huck who has taken some almighty big punches. Usyk barely got out of third gear.

Uysk will need to step it up if he wants to take on Lebedev and be no1 Cruserweight in the world.

Absolutely stacked division really with Lebedev, Huck, Drozd, Dorticos, Bellew, Usyk, Glowacki, Briedis and Hernandez is only 31 so young enough to come back out of retirement

I am not falling for that. They are at the same trick the past year. It's just too forced to take it as sincere.

Kellerman calling out Oscar was entertaining alright tho.

Alvarez wants GGG as much as I want to fight GGG.

I'll gladly fight Golovkin. Just don't expect it to last more than ten seconds. Easy retirement payday.

Lovely retirement being fed through a straw!

I wouldnt hold it against anyone who would want to avoid GGG, thats looking after your health!

But making it seem like you want him but then actively avoid him, thats bollox. Canelo has gone down a little bit in my books, he can avoid all he wants but dont make it seem like you want to fight him.

Agreed. Usyk is good boxer. But that's about it. Can punch a bit. Looks to be still very amateurish. Golawki was poor. Didn't fight at all like a champion. I thought the fight was very bland and pedestrian.

Alvarez is out for the rest of the year with a thumb injury.

Really? I thought it was a masterclass from Usyk tbh. He's like a bigger Lomachenko. So skilled.

Looks the best cruiserweight at the moment to me in a stacked division.

I did get the feeling that he had a lot more in the tank, and if up against it he could explode. I just felt from that fight there was still a very raw and amateurish look off him. Reminds me slightly of Khan. Not a fighter or pro.
