iMessage quit unexpectedly using avcore plug in?

    Hey guys,

    Can someone please please help me!! My macbook air had a melt down last week and deleted everything including the operating system so i had to download a new one and when I turned it back on it was as if the laptop was brand new!

    Since then the laptop has been having issues with finishing a restart and also my iMessage just wont work at all?? I'm getting the notification for the new messages coming in but when I click on the message bubble to open my message this appears:

    'Messages quit unexpectedly while using the AVCore plug-in'

    I have no idea how to resolve this?! please help!
