a friend of mine wants to switch course and begin fresh after completing first year in college? she didn't apply via cao though and wants to change a course in the same college, is it possible to do it even though shes not a first year and also she didn't apply for the cao this year? eg, she studied 1st year commerce 280…

eg, she studied 1st year commerce 280 points and now wants to do social care 340 points which is exact what she got but she didnt apply through the cao and whats the chance?
