Can we assume that players like Kyle Walker (Trippier), Vertonghen (Wimmer), Rose (Davies) are all at high-risk of rotation with the Champs League underway? I'm worrying a lot about Walker and can't justify paying the extra for Alderweireld etc with the rotation risk.

The fullbacks were reliably rotated for every PL/European week last season, but I'm not sure we can infer the same will be done this season with them in CL instead of Europa. Although if Trippier starts tomorrow, I'd say Walker will definitely start on Sunday, and then Trippier gets EFL Cup next week. Rose is injured still

Yes lads, twas a bit of satire on my behalf thankfully, can you imagine I really did do it! Oh dear! Though when I heard someone say Benteke was replaced by his brother I was thinking WTF is that all about, I'd never heard of the guy, someone might fall into the trap!

Careful. Folks round here dont go in for humour much.

The FSA posters, a great bunch of lads IMO. It's a nice sanctuary in here compared to the Soccer Forum, all very civil and pleasant, shout out to Mr.Prodston, he posts some comedy gold.

1683 people have transferred in young Benteke this week, they're the real comedy clowns!

Harsh. There's a certain kind of humour that isn't appreciated. Plenty of humour here.

I almost* completely stopped posting on the soccer forum once FSA formed. All the sound people came here :)

*(I still post on the Blackburn rovers thread for my sins)

Wildcard in GW6 to get Aguero back and take opportunity to clean up the team so will make a one week transfer this week. Gray most likely to drop in price so will be him. Will use money saved for Aguero so can get anyone up to 9.9 for the week.

    Lukaku v Middlesbrough
    Benteke v Stoke
    Iheanacho v Bournemouth

Lukaku the easy and safe option. But has that potential to be frustrating. I still think the Middlesbrough defence can do better than they've done so far. Also Lukaku is not going to be offered a quick hattrick every game. But a lot of people might have him now. Have Barkley already but yeah....

Benteke the warhorse against a miserable Stoke side. Speaks for himself and I could be able to afford him afterwards if he exploded with Aguero and Zlatan his pals in my team. Have Dann from the team already but irrelevant.

Iheanacho could rake in a few points against Bournemouth if City click. But how many minutes will he play? I have Nolito who wasn't selected in City's first team last night so could be mister fresh for the league game if the team stays the same, might be enough cover.

Anyone talk me out of mister safe in a team which might be clicking?

    I'm in an identical position.

Think of doing gray > Iheanacho for this week and then bringing Benteke in to join Kun and Zlatan in the WC next week.

If I was wildcarding next week I'd do gray to ihenacho

Still in shock after the weekend - red arrows all round and team potentially in tatters

Was going to do the whole Kun-Wildcard thing but I think i might pull the trigger this week instead

Considering you have Nolito already, I'd probably do Lukaku. Boro defence isn't bad but they just gave up a headed goal to Benteke and Lukaku has the stats. Don't see Palace thrashing Stoke

I'll probably bank with this despite fears over no City or Spurs cover.

    Foster
    Baines, Collins, Valencia
    Hazard, Cazorla, Puncheon, Payet
    Lukaku, Zlatan, Costa

    Pickford, Capoue, Kone, Amat

Only potential transfer would be if Collins was certain to be dropped so a hit to correct that WC error would be justified, but not sure if I'll be able to afford a playing 4.5 in that slot going fwd.

one planned transfer this week, one spur of the moment one that I think might work out. I wasn't getting enough points at the back, whereas my attack is pretty good so far.

    Negredo -> Iheanacho
    Shaw -> Williams

Still with enough money, and change to bring back in Aguero when he's back.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,809 ✭✭✭q2ice

Got collins in last week and he got zero points.
Took him out in my wildcard week so he will probably have a cracker this weekend :P;)

Big drop from 20k to 46k and lost me top spot in my money league :(

Was planning on waiting till next week but after a poor gw last week I thought there was too much deadwood. I dont think barkley is going to do much based on mondays game (I know, only 1 game) but I think Bolasie is a better bet to get in on Evertons good fixtures. He seems to get more crosses in. Got in Lukaku this week and depending on how he gets on he may keep Aguero out for an extra week.
Doesnt Aguero usually take 2 gameweeks to get back into the flow? Or is that only from injuries?

    Stones out for Walker
    Evans out for McAuley
De Gea out for Given (guaranteed till Nov 12 I think and good fixtures coming up)
    Baines out for Koscielny
    Collins out for A. Smith
    Redmond out for Antonio
Gray out for Lukaku (holder for Aguero)

Will probably make at least 20 more changes before Friday. :P:confused::pac::D

Some people might be caught out with the early deadline because of the Friday night game.

Terry out but for who. Looking at Baines but already have Miralles and Lukaku. 3 Everton players overkill?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,457 ✭✭✭✭km79

Well after that aguero hat trick I'll be banking and putting together a hastily arranged plan to get him back :D

Terry out cause he is injured or you want to get rid of him?

    First Post on here!!
Going to bank my transfer this week even though Terry is injured.
Selling Sanchez next week to make way for Aguero

Hopefully someone can give me a stir.

I'm on the fence about dropping Hazard, I've developed a love/hate for the man. I'm considering swapping Haz for Sanchez.

    What do you think?

The fixtures Arsenal have over the next few weeks look pretty good compared to Chelsea.

Also I'll be taking a -4 if I make the change.

Unless something drastic happens I can't see myself selling Hazard all season.

I think he will be up there with the very top scorers again this season.

I think I'm going to bite the bullet and go for Sanchez, at least for the next few weeks.

    Banking atm.
Nacho this week would commit me to WC in GW6.
Nolito/KDB in for Lamela and consider Kun in GW8?
Maybe tonights game will help me decide!

Have finally lost faith with Pogba. He's like a lost sheep at the moment. He was always a vanity buy.

Cazorla coming in for him for this weekend, and WC next week to sort out my team of underachievers.

And I just want to echo what was said earlier, as a neutral football supporter, this is a great place on Boards to do FF and generally pass the time.

Not around Ireland ATM so struggling to find any info.

Based on five mins research I dumped Souare for Holebas on the basis of Watford's fixtures after this weekend and not wanting to lose value.

Got 49 last week too which I'm reasonably happy with considering hazard scored 1 as my captain!

Think im going to go ahead with this team. Only concerns are ditching sterling to try to get Mahrez back (is sterling nailed on to play?)

I dropped holgate to the bench as he didn't play does anyone know if he'll be a regular this season? I just now saw he's 19.

Had costa captain last week but will prob shift it to ibra this week. He'll prob have a bigger battle against liverpool and more likely to get a card this time around.

    de Gea

    van Aanholt
    Valencia
    Morgan

    Capoue
    Hazard
    Sánchez
    Sterling
    Antonio

    Costa (c)
    Ibrahimovic

    Substitutes

    Robinson

    Holgate
    Diomande
    Amat
