Hi I lodged a cheque earlier on today around 1pm, I'm just wondering how long cheques typically take to process and add the balance to my account?

Hi pator1, thanks for getting in touch and welcome to Boards.ie

A domestic cheque will usually take around 3-5 working days to clear. If it's a foreign cheque that you've lodged it'll take longer to clear and we'd normally advise you to allow 4-6 weeks for a foreign cheque.

Let me know if you've any further questions, thanks.

    Nicola
