How secure is a tilt-and-turn window in the tilt position? For example, supposing the window is on the ground floor, how easy is it for a burglar to force entry? For anyone who may be unfamiliar with tilt-and-turn windows: has some good illustrations.

Those are the standard type of windows over here and if you get broken in to with them on tilt it's considered gross negligence and unless you have paid a premium to cover gross negligence your insurer will dismiss the claim, so I'd say they're not secure at all when tilted.
