SAC: can I get planning to building & farming near a SAC ?

    I would like to purchase land, some is in a special area of conservation (SAC). I want to apply for planning, to build and farm (veg abd fruit) on land outside the sac but maybe inside too. what are conditions for doing so? ...I have an appoint. w/ planning but would like to know what other people's experiences are with this. I know this is a vague quest with a long answer, so if there a website that I can go that would be great. I can't find one. thanks, A.G.

    Maybe enquire to local co council planning department also before you buy.

    Go into council planning website and search around on map in vicinity of sac to get an idea of what granted \ refused planning in vicinity of sac.

    Repeat exercise if you can find similar sac's in other parts of county or in other counties.

    I may be wrong but I do not think that you can plough \ dig up \ plant trees on an SAC.
