The first result on google outlines what its worth. Probably not much as there were millions printed. If its signed you may get $1,000.

    Not signed...
Yeah apparently it's not as valuable as earlier books in the series

Ebay says it's not worth anything.

Remember they had a huge worldwide midnight opening, so millions were printed and bought.

You need a first ed philosopher's stone to.make any money. That was only a short run.

This is the Television forum - not really suitable for this discussion.

I'll move this to the Harry Potter forum now.

But they're not rare. I can get one on eBay for 20 euro delivered. Why would I pay a few hundred from you?

Also, most of the die hard HP fans from 7 to 70 would have been in the queue on release night. It was only released 10 years ago. Keep it, and maybe in 30 or 40 years it'll be worth something.

It doesn't matter if it's a first edition. The numbers published is the big indicator of value. There was only around 500 copies of Philosophers Stone published in the first edition.

Deathly Hallows was the last book. Released when Harry Potter was a huge phenomenon. There were millions of books published in it's first run.

You might as well give it to a charity shop.
