Is this a thing now? Predicting every scorer? Not having a go at yourself in particular, I'm seeing it in nearly every match thread.

    3-1 City.

I dont venture into many match threads,I just done it like that for the craic, but I will be backing Aguero for a goal.

About time refs started calling them. Hopefully its a consistent trend.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,308 ✭✭✭Pyjamarama

    Delighted the Ref gave that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,333 ✭✭✭HalloweenJack

Good to see penos given for that, just wish there was consistency.

    Holding in the box

Sterling has gone from almost a laughing stock to pretty much the best player in the team.

Amazing work by Pep it seems.

That Imbula is having a shocker two or three times now he's lost the ball and been left for dead by City attackers not to mention that terrible effort on goal

Penalty has really killed the game 2-0 City now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,342 ✭✭✭Bobby Baccala

No stopping that. 26 in his last 25 league games, what a cracking player.

he will break records this season if he can stay injury free

    Peno?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 568 ✭✭✭Tomagotchye

Stoke need to work on fixing their midfield and defence. Pieters and Bardsley are not good enough. Whelan and the likes of Ireland and Adam? That's weak, not depth.

They're getting some flashy players and doing some good stuff but they're losing focus in key areas.I like Hughes but he should be building and I feel like they've gotten a little weaker getting shaq and affeley

    Blatant pen there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,492 ✭✭✭brianregan09

    How did Diouf miss that

He walks around like Yaya Toure.
City poor at the back but you won't be punished for it against Stoke.
Great consistency by the ref just there.

Stoke must be the windiest ground in the league.

Not too windy for those up in trees.
Very handy first half for city away from home first thing after an away trip in Europe

The abuse he gets is unreal. Always said that he is the real deal and his potential was just waiting to be unlocked by the right coach/team.

 Playing well at the start of the season but today his end product has been poor. Certaintly not the best player with Aguero & De Bruyne both clearly better & Sane too.

    Rodgers/Liverpool?
Given a free role in a team with Suarez, Sturridge and Coutinho with Rodgers at the helm? Yes, absolutely.

Giving a penalty every time is the only way to cut that crap out. Good stuff

Don't tug on jerseys in the box.

There'll be a record number of penos this season.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,058 ✭✭✭Unearthly

What a soft pen. Like as if he was determined to make up for mistake first half

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,107 ✭✭✭✭niallo27

Shocking call there by the ref. You will 20 pens a game if this is the way it goes.

Or that he's at least consistent.

Why was Sterling on Shawcross though?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 568 ✭✭✭Tomagotchye

I don't think shawcross was getting to that anyways. Hmm... Pathetically soft

Mike Dean having a Mike Dean. I'm old enough to remember when the game had some decent men in black what has gone wrong? Is the game too fast, are the rules and their interpretations too messy to be consistent?
