Don't like doing transfers so early, but after tonight, Ibra is a must have, IMO. Vardy out, so I'm thinking he'll get two or more against Swansea next week. Might have to visit Paddy Power and back him for a brace in that game just to ease the pain, if he takes off.

Had two FTs and my subs are all starters, so I'm not in point hits territory yet.

Trying to decide whether to do vardy to Costa tonight or take the 0.1 hit. Want to maximise value these couple of weeks but hate to transfer before either player has kicked a ball.

Vardy could score tomorrow and halt the slide while Costa could get sent off or do his hamstring. In which case it'd be wildcard time.

I'd hold as you pointed out all could go very wrong tomorrow. Risking a gw4 wc for 0.1 isn't worth it for me.

Do consider Vardy dropping twice though which would mean you will have to WC.

Really hope he doesn't. But even if he scores well I won't be keeping him longer term so no point losing value on him

Plus with Ibra now an urgent priority for many many managers, and few set up with space for 3 big strikers, even if Vardy scores he could continue to drop as people prioritise getting Ibra. Mahrez may get a few rises out of this too as people switch Leicester cover.

Costa has Burnley at home GW3 so worth a gamble overall I think.

My sacrifice was Alexis, replaced by Mahrez. The fact that he's on penalties and hopefully has his head cleared with his new contract gave him the edge, and it also makes me feel better about getting rid of Vardy before SWA in GW3.

It's quite likely that I'll WC during the international break, so this is likely just a one game punt, and looking at it that way Mahrez seems like one of the best options (barring a Chelsea mid, but already have Hazard).

Made the same transfers in the end. Will likely get Firmino in from GW6 onwards when Liverpool's lovely run of fixtures starts.

Have two free transfers, so will be shipping out Vardy and Sanchez for Ibrahimovich and probably Firmino as things stand.

That'll leave me with just shy of 1m in the bank, so I haven't pulled the trigger just yet.

FFFix over egged it massively yet again as I was warning about in the other thread. I thought Vardy was a cert to drop though with the way Zlatan was rocketing upwards at mostly his expense.

I'm surprised Vardy hasn't dropped but look i was always taking a 3 game punt on him over Ibra, I couldn't hold longer.

My biggest regret was taken Fuchs out before Tadic which meant I had to take a -8 point hit when it was certain Tadic was dropping.

That said I might jus pull the wildcard out as after all there was a lot of activity after a Friday night game (not the norm), we still have Saturday & Sunday to go then we have the flurry of transfers before next week. Could pick up a few rises and more importantly avoid price drops.

I was planning on wildcarding after GW3 so will wait & see today before deciding.

In fairness 3 of those looked certs to drop. I jumped in as well but ni regrets on it. I needed Zlatan full stop.

Can anyone tell me if Diomande is nailed on for Hull? With Ibra and Aguero up front Diomande for Gray would free up an awful lot of cash for me and rarely have to come off my bench

I was actually looking at him at the start as my bench fodder over Capoue with the view to rotating him with 6.5m midfielder when good fixtures/form

If Vardy or Gray do something, they might and will survive until next deadline. If they blank - they will drop in price. I don't even need fplstats or fffix to predict that.

I think they will both continue to drop as Ibra has become essential now & there are better options appearing than Gray who had City away next - score today or not

Made three transfers last night to avoid price falls and due to Zlatan fear going forward.

Vardy, Sanchez, Morgan out for Zlatan, Sterling and Baines + 1.0 M in bank for future upgrades.
