Hazel hedge, nearing Y3 of growth, almost 3m high, expanding in every direction.
What's the next step? Do I prune? Or 1/2 cut the branches and bend back and sideways to thicken it up?
    Any suggestions welcomed.

What is the purpose of the hedge?
Decorative, keeping animals in/out, firewood, habitat for wildlife..

Many thanks-the main aim is for wildlife conservation with the expectation that nuts over time will be carried away and dropped and the hazel will eventually become common locally. Wild rose, blackthorn, euonymous, rowan and the occasional future standard tree growing too, though hazel is 80% of the hedgerow.
