Looking forward to this one. I enjoyed the last outing at Esker a few years ago, can't remember a whole pile about the place, but do remember coming away impressed

Its a fantastic course, lot of walking but some great holes on it. You have to think your way around it.

I think I'm the defending champion around Esker, arent I ?

Looking forward to getting back there and defending my title ;)

Would it be very rude to ask to play in this please? First time at a Boards outing.

Absolutely not. The more the merrier, and we have a good bit of space available on the time sheet if anybody else is interested.

Myself and Brendan141 will be traveling together, if we could get out with tee times close together that would be great.

Sorry I have been swamped at work, I will get active sheet up on Friday

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,512 ✭✭✭✭Rikand

I'm actually not stretched for position on the timesheet now. I imagine myself and Charlie will travel down together so I'll play near to wherever he is playing ;)

    Haha must be!

Any idea what tees we'll be playing off?

Yellows would be more fun, makes the 2nd and 10th holes (par 4's) driveable

Also reduces the 1st and 16th (par 5's) to much shorter more reachable in 2 par 5's.

playing off the yellows definitely doesnt take anything from the course like it would elsewhere. You're still be hitting over the same danger as you do from the whites. If anything, the yellows give you more decisions to make

Bring the brolly on Sat boys and girls :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 269 ✭✭doublecross

Played the course early in the year and it was in great shape. I'd second the motion for the yellow tees, always a bit more fun.
Any ideas on nearest pin (5th) and longest drive (18th)?

    Hi All

There was a small mix up on the times and the club have asked if we would mind moving a little, given that most want to get out early i have said yes.

new tee time is 12.10 and we are out in 3 balls. We will be off the yellows and i will get back with the NDP and LD.

Why not the 5th for NTP? Straight down the hill, would be very interesting ;)

12 and 18 best options for longest drive
