    Can anyone tell me how to install the méarchlár and a font for typing as Gaeilge from Cló Gaelach on Mac OSX El Captain? Go raibh míle maith agaibh

    On keyboard simple enough download Cló Gaelach keymap:

    This gives you fada's, overdot's and stuff like ⁊

    With regards to fonts it really depends on what you are into, you could always download Gadelica which is free

    Hi guys

    Sure! To install the Méarchlár and a Cló Gaelach font for typing as Gaeilge on Mac OSX El Capitan, follow these steps:

    1. Download the Méarchlár input method from a trusted source.
    2. Install the Méarchlár by navigating to System Preferences > Keyboard > Input Sources, then click the "+" button and select Méarchlár from the list.
    3. Download a Cló Gaelach font and install it on your Mac.
    4. Once installed, you can switch to Méarchlár input and select the Cló Gaelach font for typing in Irish. Enjoy typing as Gaeilge! Go raibh míle maith agaibh!
