    Hi Folks,

I'm wondering if you guys can recommend me a class-based gym in Dublin City. I've moved upto Dublin recently and before this I was attending a gym in Galway (called absolute fitness if you know it) which did three classes a week that were mostly HIIT and S&C based with a high reliance on weights. I was going there for 6 months or so and loved it!

I've investigated a few gyms around and could rule many out due to being:
    - Too expensive
    - Too light an intensity
    - Too few S&C/HIIT classes and many other classes like Boxfit or Spin which wouldn't be my interest.
    - Not open until late evening

Now moving up to Dublin, i'm hardly it hard to find a gym that does the same or similiar in late evenings. I'm living in Drumcondra if that helps.

    Would really appreciate any recommendations

What's your budget and where have you ruled out?

I paid about €80 a month in my last place. Wouldn't like to be paying more than €120. I've tried Andy Kenny fitness (which seemed ok but was a more easygoing than i'm use to and not a great weight selection) and ActiveYou in Drumcondra which is close but seemed very unchallenging and not a great selection of classes.

    Where will you be working?

There's not a whole lot around DC, and we're outta your price range, because I know someone is gonna suggest it - thanks by the way to everoyne who does (glasnevin location), but if you give an idea where you'll be travelling to, I can probably recommend somewhere.

CrossFit Ronin is basically down the far end of Clonliffe Road too (Esmonde Avenue) and are in budget.

I'm working in the city centre but would prefer a place closer to home. That being said, i don't mind travelling in for somewhere worth it.

Looked up CrossFit Ronin's website and it's €160 a month...

    EDIT: I see now they're €130, i'll give them a shout, cheers!

Ronin Crossfit is great!! I've been going there for a year and I love it. Went to ActiveYou before for a few months, but also found it unchallenging/same-y. I think it's e130/month at Ronin Crossfit for unlimited classes and less if you go 3 times a week.

Just go to Ronin. You won't regret it. Buy 3 less coffees during the month :)
