Rodriguez to take another step forward here and get the finish, really liking Bruce Leeroys resurgence though I like seeing him do well. Wonder how rodriguez will fair if it gets into the later rounds he gets a little gassy. Another career resurgence is camozzi, hopefully he gets another W I had him against Miranda last time out when nobody gave him a chance. Poor cub relegated to fight pass prelims.

fancy a few upsets here in camozzi and possibly cummings, even taylor
think smith will get his p45, gigliotti doesn't look bad from what ive watched

so caceres part of the main event and swanson on the early prelims :pac:

should be a few dogfights on the cards, camozzi leites, steele mcgee or cummings ponzin, bermudez another maybe
card might suprise a few I reckon

Disgraceful is not really the adjective I was going for.

Disgracefully good I meant. I'm in awe of that

This may be one of the most "WTF???" headliners in quite some time... especially when Cub Swanson is the second fight of the night against Kawijiri!!!

Very 'meh' looking card. Usually optimistic about fights but this event is jumping the shark and then some given the amount of events we've had/are going to have.

    Or Disgracefully bad defense:cool:

Its like saying what a great goal. When in reality the keeper should be stopping that!

How should he have stopped it?
It's a legitimate sweep not like he let the ball rolled between his legs or something.

It'll end up being a cracking card lads. Looking at a card on paper that doesn't seem up to much virtually always ends up being quality.

I think people are being a bit harsh on it. Sure, Rodriguez v Caceres is ideally not main event worthy but it's a Fight Night card in Utah 3 weeks out from the madness of UFC 200 and all the cards that came with it. Something had to give, but there's plenty of names throughout the card to keep it ticking over IMO.

Fairly shít card on paper but still nice to have something on TV tonight all the same.

I don't really see any huge upsets happening to be honest. I'm confident in Camozzi palming his way to a decision all the same.

Camozzi, McGee, Swanson, Yair confident in these.

Anyone have the results of the early prelims, or am I imagining it not being shown yet?

Just started! Great first round, two heavyweights swinging for 4 minutes [so far].

Yup, watching now as well, am frightened Sherman is about to get knocked out, he's getting a hell of a batterin to the head.

Ok, I love Sherman, cuz I love crazy. No way he won that though :-)

Sherman seems to come from the Diego Sanchez school of MMA.

Its where you are taught to defend punches using your face!

I am looking forward to Sherman's future fights though, he's a character! Hopefully he works on some stuff in the meantime.

At one stage, Cub seemed to be THE threat to Conor but seemed to drop out of the picture after the loss to Edgar

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,481 ✭✭✭tinpib

That was brilliant from Kuayjuri[???] to break that hold.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,439 ✭✭✭The White Feather

Prelims have been very good so far.

    This is a good scrap!

    Kuajeri looks knackered.

edit: think Cub could finish him this round which would dash my early retirement plans as i have him by decision.

If Kawajiri stays on top for this round, he could steal the fight.

    Wait, Cub is up!!
No he is down again! :D
